The Property & Cabins have undergone New Ownership and extensive remodeling, with brand new furnishings, appliances, & decorations. While located in a country setting, you are still close to Downtown Savanna, Mississippi River, & Palisades State Park. This is a perfect retreat for a blend of tranquility and rustic charm.

GOOSE ISLAND CABIN -Secluded Riverside Eco-Retreat

Nestled along the banks of the Rock River under tall oaks, ye ol cabin was built by early settlers in 1907. Legit rustic charm. Secluded yet only 10 mins from the fun town of Oregon. 100 acres of private property, bordering Lowden-Miller State Forest. Includes use of canoes/kayaks, large riverfront yard, grills, hammocks, deck, porch and firewood. $33/night per person or pet after first 2 people. Message Tim about accomodating larger groups and events. Closed for winter November through March.

Doe Meadow, a tiny house farm stay

Doe Meadow is my newest custom designed tiny house nestled along the drive to my family farm. Sharing my little slice of heaven with guests is something I have found great joy in. Rural tourism is my passion, & all the farm animals are anxiously awaiting your visit- treats in tow- of course! Peaceful country home set of 12 wooded acres close to local wedding venues. The atmosphere is beautiful in this spacious country home. The floor plan is open so you can enjoy wonderful conversation and camaraderie with your family and friends. Enjoy grilling and eating on the deck surrounded by beautiful scenic woods. The house will sleep 10 people. It has a King and two queen bedrooms. In addition, there are two pull out couches with queen beds. Well-behaved pets are welcome.

LHOTP (Lil House On The Prairie)

Lil House On The Prairie (LHOTP) is aptly named because it’s located on the edge of Nachusa Grassland’s 1,000 acre south Bison pasture. The 100+ herd of free ranging Bison can often be viewed right along the boundary fence to the west! This recently remodeled two bedroom cottage can sleep six with two queen size beds and with a pull out sofa bed. LHOTP offers a quiet, convenient, and comfortable place to base your adventures from. Behaved dogs & responsible owners welcome!

Enjoy a cozy and clean relaxing visit at, "Ann's Place!" Fully refreshed this year with new amenities, linens, bedding inside and outside. The outside has great off street parking along with a sitting area. Enjoy the quiet neighborhood or a stroll down to the river. The Rock River is located two blocks from Ann's Place along with a playground for littles to run. Hairy Cow Brewing is located along the Rock River and just a 5 minute walk from Ann's Place. No pets allowed.
