I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

Exceptional location in the cultural center of Catania! Gwendalina was particularly available for any questions we had and the apartment is functional and comfortable.

Tina and Luigi personally welcomed us and made sure to have everything we needed in the house to not have to worry during the stay. Breakfast food and fresh eggs included! The view of mount Etna is amazing from the house… we really enjoyed our stay!

Excellent stay. We were very warmly welcomed by Ignazio, who made us feel at home. Beautiful view from the garden, vegetables from the vegetable garden and fruit from the orchard. Both horses and the dog were a real plus for children. Ignazio also helped us advise on choosing our hike on Etna. What to make breakfast and pasta to troubleshoot when you arrived were also available. In short, we recommend it!

A very warm welcome in a spacious, comfortable and clean apartment. Lots of attention to breakfast and bathroom products. Pretty terrace with views of Taormina. Beachfront within walking distance. Very quiet to sleep in.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house! The location was perfect — close to restaurants, stores, and shops, which made everything super convenient. We especially loved the restaurant right upstairs — not only was the food great, but the view was beautiful too. The host was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They even left us some items for breakfast, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended!

Massimo was a great host. He met and showed us the parking spot he saved right outside the Airbnb, which is a great help and no stress parking. He was very helpful and showed us around the beautiful apartment and gave great advice of restaurants, bus schedule, etc. The apartment is large, extremely comfortable and clean. We appreciated the strong water pressure in the shower, as the last hotel we were in, there was a trickle of water. Also loved that Massimo provided coffee, milk, snacks, yogurts, and juice. Once we parked the car, it stayed there until we left. We walked down to town, and ended up taking a taxi back. $20. We could have taken the bus, but unfortunately we did not buy tickets ahead of time and the bus was full. If you want a certain return, you will need to purchase ahead of time. They did not allow paying bus driver. What can we say about that view from the apartment. It’s absolutely beautiful. Thank you Massimo

+ best value for money in the area, great location, 2 steps from the bus station for major departures and excursions, 2 steps from the seaside coast and its main street but quiet facing a natural park, a kitchen equipped so as not to have to eat outside. supermarket, en primeur, restaurants on the street at the back very well-stocked. - The hot water tank is limited for 2 people, and there are no shutters in the sleeping area only a blackout curtain

The apartment is wonderful even in January in the rain and the terrance just amazing with views of the sunrise over the sea one side and a snow capped Mt Etna the other. Both Giuseppe and his mum, very helpful and generous hosts, with fridge stocked and breakfast food provided. Also the wi-fi is super fast and was great for working video calls and Netflix. The apartment had everything you could need and I can't wait to be back and highly recommend. Thank you both and also for helping me improve my Italiano. .....Spero di rivederti presto! - Davide.

Everything was perfect! Thanks for the great hospitality @ Marco and Tony. This is a great starting point to explore Mount Etna and its surroundings. We can really recommend this Bed and Breakfast! :-)

Chiara and her husband are very welcoming and human-oriented people. The rooms were spotless and clean, we were only supposed to stay one night but stayed one more night because we enjoyed everything, the rooms, breakfasts included, the hosts accompanied us from start to finish, we thank them and will not fail to come back if we have the opportunity later. Best airbnb, I highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay with Giuseppe! He is such are friendly and helpful person. He introduced us to Taormina with many personal hints for good restaurants, sightseeing etc. The large balconee offers a spectacular view over the bay of Taormina. The house is located within a few minutes from the city center, but is very quiet. The furniture is classic and high quality including a good kingsize bed. I highly recommend to stay with Giuseppe, and we will for sure stay there next time we're in the region. Didier & Ariane (Switzerland)
