The owners, Bill and Jenny Higgs live next door - very discreet but always on hand to help.

Nestled in the peaceful hills of Burgundy with the vineyards of Beaune just a stone’s throw away, The Writer’s Cabin is the perfect cozy hide away to unplug, slow down and recharge. For a romantic get away, some me-time all by yourself or to work an a creative project. Relax as you enjoy the views of the woods, admire the incredibly starry skies we get here from your private hot tub or read a book in the swing chair on the deck or curled up in the sofa inside in front of the wood burner.

Studio with independent entrance located in our main residence including lounge area, equipped kitchenette lounge area, office area, shower room with toilet, king size bed located on the mezzanine. The garden of the house adjoining the studio and at your disposal, pétanque court. Pets are allowed with pleasure as long as you incorporate it into the reservation. Commanderie de la Romagne (La Romagne Commandery)

Enjoy one or more nights in a medieval Burgundian castle! Bed and breakfast for one or two people including one bedroom, with bathroom, toilet and private terrace (no kitchen). Breakfast, served in a room of the castle, is included in the price indicated. The room is located in the building of the old drawbridge, fortified in the 15th century. Romagna is a former commandery founded by the Templars around 1140, then it belonged to the Order of Malta.

At the crossroads of Santenay, Hautes-Côtes de Beaune and the Maranges Valley, this charming 17th century winemaker's home will comfortably accommodate 4 adults and 2 children over 12 years old. Located amid vineyards, you will appreciate its calm, authenticity, pool, gardens and magnificent view. The safety of our facilities does not allow us to accept children under the age of 12 on the property.
