Bienvenue in our cottage in the French Basque Country! Bonjour! We are Leona and Jan. After more than 10 years of regular holidays in the region, we fulfilled our dream of our own house on the Atlantic coast last year. Since we cannot always be here ourselves, we would like to share this dream with you! At only 6km from the sea, quietly situated in the country side surrounded by sheep and grazing horses, the house offers a picturesque view of the Pyrenees.

The Ibarrondoa gîte is a beautiful 150 m2 bright gîte completely refurbished in the old barn of a traditional Basque farm. You will enjoy a fully equipped kitchen open to a large bright living room with its large family table and comfortable living room, in a decor combining antique furniture and modern comfort. 6 km from Guetary beach, 7 km from St Jean de Luz, 5 km from Bidart, 12 km from Biarritz and 17 km from the Spanish border, our house is ideally located to visit the region. Exceptional views of the Spanish Pyrenees and the Rhune. South-facing house (very sunny), recently redone, nicely decorated, comfortable, quiet, ideal for a lovely vacation in the Basque Country with family/friends.
