Nikki is a great host and we felt completely comfortable. A cozy apartment, with everything you need, a great terrace overlooking the mountains and a beautiful environment - what more could you ask for. Nikki always took time for us when we had questions and gave us many great tips for hiking tours and excursions :) A note for other travelers: since the region is very spacious, you should have a car for this trip. An absolute gem! We had a large group (4 adults, 4 children) and each of us thoroughly enjoyed le Vieil Aiglun. Set atop a hilltop, the cottage affords 360-degree views of the stunning landscape. We first visited in 2010, and enjoyed our visit this year (2024) as much as our first. We would love to come back again someday!
