The house is in a quiet hamlet, a 20 minute drive from Glasgow city centre. The house holds a good central position close to airports; Glasgow airport is 30 minutes away and Edinburgh airport is 40 minutes drive and is a good base for a variety of day trips in and around the city. Twechar is situated on the Forth and Clyde canal which is used for cycling, walking and kayaking. There are many walks in and around Twechar itself for instance the Roman Fort and easy access to the Trossachs.

Osprey Cottage sits only 20 meters from the beach in the pretty coastal fishing village of Dunure, benefitting from: Lounge, kitchen, bathroom (no bath) & 3 bedrooms, bedroom 1 on the ground floor with a king-size bed, bedroom 2 is upstairs, with a double bed and a en-suite shower room. Welcome to our Cabin on the Loch. Our custom built cabin on stilts over the pristine Loch Venachar. Situated in the heart of the Trossachs, not far from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. It is a totally private secret escape. This is truly a place to relax and to get away from it all. Just sit on the deck, or take a stroll along the banks of the Loch. The cabin sleeps 2 people and is totally private. A wonderful location for fishing, walking and cycling, (or just chilling).

Tin Lid Cottage - cosy ground floor flat

There's 200 years of history in our cosy little cottage. Part of the original village cross and formerly ‘Bab’s Shop’, it is now a one bedroom haven. There's wonderful walks from the doorstep and it's a great base to explore the cities and sights of central Scotland. Our quiet & lovely village pub, The Swan is open Friday- Monday. It was the first community owned pub in Scotland and has recently had a major refurbishment. Be sure to book ahead, it’s popular!

Wisteria Garden

The pet friendly (two maximum), self contained unit is a detached annexe, internal dimensions are 6m x 4m. It has modern amenities having been completed in May 2021. The guest house is ideally located in Central Scotland with motorway access to all areas North, South, East and West 5 minutes drive from the location. The railway station at Falkirk High with a journey time of 20 minutes to both Glasgow and Edinburgh is a 10 minute drive.
