Monthly Rentals in Ala Moana Beach

This is definitely my favorite place in Honolulu! I felt very much at home, and the natural fibers and beautiful wood furniture were a delight. I had a couple of previously scheduled medical procedures while there, and it was a wonderful and peaceful refuge. The owners were great to work with, and their pictures are 100% accurate. The hotel staff behind the desk were extremely friendly and helpful, much more so than other places I have stayed. The view is absolutely spectacular! Do expect high noise levels from the volleyball court right next door from about 7 AM to 7 PM. It is generally quiet after sunset. I will definitely stay here again.

Delightful week's stay in Maurie's comfortable & well-appointed condo! Just as described in photos with the desirable Marina view. Gorgeous sunsets from the large & carpeted lanai with comfortable chairs & a table PLUS a chaise lounge. Wonderful for enjoying morning tea, reading, just relaxing or soaking in the beautiful view. While I've stayed many times in various privately-owned condos at the Ilikai, I appreciated the special touches Maurie's includes: boogie boards, comfy beach chairs, large beach towels, & a welcome gift (Mahalo) & notebook w/lots of local info. As a non-coffee drinker, I was happily surprised to find a tea kettle & cute tea pot. Bed was comfy & the bathroom, while short on counter space, has cabinet space above sink for conveniently storing toiletries. WiFi was fast & works well. We did not watch TV but there's a large one. I added new hangers to the closet. : ) A luggage rack would be a welcome addition. Maurie is an impressively responsive & kind host--5 stars!

It was helpful that they handled the early check-in. They were there at check-in and explained everything, including how to use the room, kitchen, common space, etc., so we were able to handle it smoothly without any problems. I'd love to stay again.

The location of the unit is conveniently close to Ala Moana Center and only a handful of blocks from the beach. From an amenities standpoint, the gym in the building and outdoor spaces were well maintaned and perfect for our needs. Hats off to the staff for the level of detail they go to on the daily. In terms of general feedback, the unit could have been better equipped from a furniture standpoint. We knew this going in based on photos, however the lack of a coffee table in the living room and nightstands in the bedrooms would further improve the space. Having stayed at the rental for a full month, we had a great time and would definitely return.
