Spend the day kayaking, walking or cycling in the mountains, enjoying the largest spa in Portugal (20 mins), & exploring historic villages and cities, then come home to relax in a hammock in the orchard, soak up views from the bath, or chillout to vintage vinyl. We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

An ideal location for exploring the area, the independent and private double bedroom is set in a rural garden of olive trees, mandarins, almonds, grapes, and figs, surrounded by nature with mountain views of the Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain range in Portugal. We are nestled in the beautiful rolling countryside just between the city of Castelo Branco & Fundao. This beautiful yurt is situated right on the edge of our land. In a lovely peaceful space between the trees, with a view to the Gardunha mountain. We offer a double bed, small kitchenette with pots & pans, gas cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, compost toilet, shower & wood for the log burner in colder months. A fully restored 1947 house, located in the center of the village of Chãos, where you will find a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Access to it is through a lock code made available on the day of check-in. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast. There is a balcony with a barbecue area for grilling, and you can also take walks or bike rides from the accommodation, nearby. Relax with the magnificent view of Serra da Gardunha and Serra da Estrela, on the terrace available.

Novelães is a very quiet village just 5 km from the foot of Serra da Estrela between Gouveia and Seia. The house has a large space with 3 bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.
