On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Unique design, large window surfaces, and rooms on multiple levels. One bedroom with a double bed, and a large sofa bed in the loft/TV room. Tiled bathroom by bedroom. The lower floor with double gate, view of the fjord, and with its own toilet/laundry room and fridge/freezer.

Enjoy the wonderful view from this idyllic storehouse located on Valderøya outside Ålesund. The stable is over a hundred years old, but it has been renovated. NOTE: The storage room has electricity, but not running water or a toilet. Guests can use shower and toilet in the main house which is 30 m away. The bathroom in the main house is only used by you guests and access to the rest of the main house is closed off. There is 5 gallons of water available in the fridge. Your parking space is in front of our house, and you go down an exterior staircase to your entrance. The entry has a big wardrobe. Next is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and washer dryer combo. Down the hallway is a bedroom with a 150x200cm bed and a big closet, and a living room with a sofa bed that pulls out to 140x200cm and a crib. The house was built in 1906 and has big windows ensuring plenty of natural light and view on some of the most beautiful buildings in Ålesund. Bedroom facing quiet backside. Right next to house you find nice restaurants , cafes and a famous wine-bar. There is a public free of charge parking 24/7 aprox 10 minutes walk from flat .
