We had a wonderful time at Camp Velvet. This was our second visit and it was so very peaceful. The beautiful fall weather and foliage made everything so delightful. What a pleasure to sit on the back porch, drink a cup of tea, and take in the sounds and scenery. The cabin was squeaky clean and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We had a lovely time exploring the property and hiking around the trails. Truly a lovely break from city life. Victoria and John are wonderful hosts that are responsive and caring. They take the time to fill in the little details that help make the stay so enjoyable. If you get a chance, go to Camp Velvet! Can’t wait to return sometime soon 😊

Kyle answered questions very quickly. He was flexible, professional, knowledgeable and very kind. We were extremely happy with our overall experience. There were even home baked goods for us when we got there! And we booked at the last minute. Thank you Kyle for everything! We enjoyed our stay. The place was so cozy & comfy! We enjoyed a pleasant stay. The house was larger than we anticipated.

Very peaceful and relaxing location. The Wi-Fi was fast. There was great snacks provided. When a storm rolled through they offered use of their storm shelter. Nice folks and I would stay here again. I would suggest using the fan mode on the window unit at night if you aren't used to animal sounds (rooster, dog) and you will sleep just fine.
