Monthly Rentals in Allambee Reserve

Review is for a two bedroom miners' cottage in Korumburra. We lived in town for over twenty years and were back for a wedding. Beautiful old style home with lovely antiques and rugs. Good spotless gas stove. Kitchen generously stocked including a loaf of bread. Lovely well-kept garden. Books, games etc. Very thoughtfully set up and absolutely spotlessy clean. Five minute walk into town for a large IGA supermarket, Chinese restaurant, the middle pub (if they still call it that - the bottom pub burned down about 40 years ago). Access was simple. We had a very pleasant stay, thank you!

The place was as described and the host was friendly and responsive. The self checkin was very helpful as we only made it there in the evening as we had a whole day planned before. The place was clean but due to the easter holidays we had some trouble looking for dinner later in the night. But all up very happy with this place.

We had a fantastic stay at Deb’s place in Yarragon! She was an exceptional host—warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive. The home was spotless and clearly well cared for; everything felt clean, fresh, and inviting. After a long two-hour drive from Melbourne Airport, we were so grateful to find welcome drinks, milk, snacks, and breakfast items waiting for us—it was such a thoughtful touch and so much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable with high-quality sheets that made for a great night’s sleep. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and is within easy walking distance to all the lovely shops and cafes in Yarragon, making it a perfect spot to relax and explore. I highly recommend Deb’s home to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-maintained place to stay, and I would absolutely love to return in the future!

Halcyon Cottage Retreat did not disappoint. The view is as beautiful as the pictures suggest. And the house is lovely. The arrival treats were a nice touch and Jacqui was extremely responsive to any messages and very easy to deal with. Just wish I could have stayed longer.
