Holiday rentals with beach access in Allerdale District

We have stayed in 63 Air Bnbs and I must say that Deborah’s is the most luxurious. The interior decor would do well in a magazine. From the plush cushions on the super comfortable sofa, to the beautiful lamps, pictures, vases, and ornaments. We loved all the nods to Scottish culture. The kitchen was well appointed and the dinnerware stunning. The master bedroom was sumptuous. Stunning decor, linen and beautiful styling. The bed was super comfy too. The bathroom is magnificent with shower and jacuzzi bath and so many extra touches. Thank you Deborah for all the hard work you have put into making us feel like royalty! Also for the sandwiches, cake, milk, chips, chocolates. You certainly deserve nothing under 5 stars, and we would give you 10 if we could.

The accommodation was neat, tidy and perfect to our stay at Lake district. Anthony greeted us very well with chocolates, was easily reachable for any concerns you may have. Kids also enjoyed the puzzle games, story books which were available and kept the kids away from the mobile phones. All in all it was a pleasant stay and thank you

this place is beautiful, so peaceful. The apartment is cozy and would 100% recommend this stay. If there is a group staying next door it can be a little noisy.

Absolutely perfect stay! The place was pure luxury relaxing, spotless, and exactly as described in the listing. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The attention to detail and comfort was top-notch. We loved our stay at Southerness nice seaside town with lots for adults and kids to do, well located caravan with good views, quiet, extremely clean and tidy and well stocked with appliances.

Lewis was very friendly and gave us some recommendations for places to eat. We decided to get the train from Ravenglass to Eskdale and eat at The Boot Inn which we, like Lewis, would highly recommend! Location is great but would suggest asking for a room out the back if you want peace and quiet as we were right at the front of the building and on both Friday and Saturday night, there were large groups of very loud people enjoying themselves as they walked to the train and back. Not a big issue. The place itself was easy to find, clean, well maintained and great location for shops/pubs and beach. Thanks very much Lewis. 😃

This was my second visit to the house and even better than I remembered. A perfect place to come with my loved ones to celebrate turning 30. I can’t thank you enough for creating a home from home. We didn’t want to leave! I am sure I’ll be back again!

We loved our stay at Dora's Cottage; it was peaceful, cosy and we felt instantly at home in an area of the country that we already love. Somewhere to relax and re-charge; the cottage was so comfortable, spotlessly clean, and they have thought of absolutely everything for a short stay. We would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay in Allonby. The house was well situated, well presented, clean and well equipped. Would definitely love to return in the future - thanks Mark!

Lovely stay Cheryl was very responsive had a great weekend stay lovely private small area in the back to sit outside and to top it off we had lovely weather while staying so the sun was out very nice, and lovely at night looking at the stars can’t fault Cheryl’s place definitely be back one day 😊

This was the perfect place for a family stay to celebrate my sisters 30th birthday, the kids and dogs really enjoyed the big garden and the hot tub was perfect for the adults. Would definitely recommend!

Jane responder to me immediately when I requested to book. Her messages to me were so clear and instructive and she came across very welcoming. It was a lovely touch that she left out some dog towels and mini dog bed. Would definitely hope to stay again whenever we're passing through.

We stayed at Swallow's Loft, in the beautiful village of Far Sawrey, for 3 nights. We absolutely loved the area and Louise's place is ideally situated. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and cosy and Louise provided everything we could need. Louise was very friendly and messaged a few times to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

a gem of a place, the location was ideal for beach walks and exploring the lakes. utility room is perfect for sorting wet clothes and wetsuits post wild swimming. Cosy, comfortable and perfect for a group of 8 (4 adult and 4 children).

We’ve spend a bank holiday weekend at the cottage and had a really lovely time. The cottage is a bit harder to find as it’s out in nature, but the host provided us with helpful instructions. The location is very peaceful and close to Wast Water and Scafell Pike and everything was clean when we arrived. The host was responsive and flexible, allowing us to check in a bit earlier and check out a bit later. All in all a great stay!

Third time I have stayed at the flat and we love it , 2 min walk into town and private parking space . But it’s so homely and immaculately clean and has everything you need . Cant wait to stay there again . Fabulous hosts.

Cosy cottage with lots of character, in central location. Easy access to shops and sites. Could unload outside cottage, and then go to nearby on street parking. Booked cottage for overnight stay for the Taste of the Sea Festival. Exceeded all expectations when discovered that free breakfast was included at nearby cafe.

Very nice place for a private room in Aurelia’s place. Close to town and very convenient. Left to my own devices which suited my short stay. Highly recommended.

We love Sarah’s place, this was our third stay, it’s very conveniently located, lots of amenities near by. Sarah is friendly and responsive, and we look forward to coming back soon

Right from the booking Angela kept in touch with us. We asked about bringing our dog and not only was it ok, but Angela offered to look after her whilst we were at the party. She even came and met us when we were out and about and made sure that we were happy about her looking after the pooch…who never gave gave us a second glance when Angela and Tony collected her lol. Had a great time and plenty info from Angela about things to do. Thank you so much from both (well 3) of us xx
