Al Crotto - Holiday home

In the heart of Chiavenna, a stone's throw from the historic centre, this apartment, finely renovated by the architect owner, was created inside an ancient Alpine Crotto. Exposed stone and natural wood interact with contemporary lines, creating an intimate and harmonious environment, between tradition and modern comfort. Strategically located between mountains and lakes, near Madesimo, St. Moritz and Lake Como, it is surrounded by greenery and ideal for a regenerating stay in every season.

THE VILLAGE - Como Lake

The VILLAGE consists of three ancient and luxurious houses, dating back to the 1600s. They are all independent houses. One is the home of the only couple of guests, one is the home of the owners and the last is the holistic massage studio. The garden, swimming pool, hot tub, infrared sauna and woods are for the exclusive use of the two guests only. All surrounded by nature. Luca and Marina live in the VILLAGE, but do not use the amenities. The property is not suitable for children.

Winter experience in search of silence and the scent of snow in a cabin located on a panoramic plateau at 1400 m, admiring the mountains of the Val Grande di Lanzo. Equipped with a private kitchen, toilet and sauna, underfloor heating and an outdoor solarium a few meters away, in the lawn. A paved road that climbs into the woods leads in 10 minutes to the hamlet of Albone: we recommend a booking request – in the colder months – to be updated on the viability of the road itself.

The apartment offers two cozy bedrooms, a spacious living room and a bright, unique gallery. Both balconies offer an impressive panoramic view of the mountains.

All the old town is only pedestrian and can only be reached on foot.

Our home is located on the hill of Pieve Ligure. It is surrounded by greenery, in a family and peaceful setting. You can enjoy a splendid view of the Golfo Paradiso. The house has an outdoor space for reading, having lunch... The sea is a 10-minute walk down a non steep staircase; from home you can leave for several excursions. The center of Genoa is about 30 minutes by car. Train and bus stops are a 10-minute walk away.
