Where do I begin? Alena (host) was amazing from the second I booked this chalet all the way through checkout, and our trip home. I have stayed in many Air BnB's, and Alena was the best host I could ask for. Before we even checked in Alena had given me recommendations of things to do, places to eat, and had covered any detail I could have needed. During our stay she checked on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves (even though she was on vacation herself!!!) The chalet is even more beautiful in person, the chalet is surrounded by the Swiss Alps, and the scenery is like nothing I have seen before. Inside the chalet was almost as beautiful as the Alps outside, (no offense Alena ;) The woodwork inside the chalet is stunning along with the other beautiful decor. My family and I began our trip in Paris, and finished at this chalet. It was a long exhausting trip, and seeing the Alps had been on my bucket list for 40 years. This stay was a true dream come true. Very nice cottage, ideal for 3 couples and children. Very well equipped. A bedroom on the ground floor with a bathroom (Ideal with a baby). Very nice view. Farm animals just across the street for little ones, nice walks for the older ones.

What can we say: it was just a dream! We really fell in love. The accommodation is superbly located. Everything can be reached on foot or by bike. The lake view is awesome. From here you can comfortably walk directly along the lake and river to Thun. We enjoyed every walk. The apartment was very clean and offered everything you need in it. It is stylishly furnished and we and our little daughter immediately felt very comfortable. We felt right at home. Lukas was a great host. Although he was on vacation himself, he always responded promptly and very friendly. His parents, who live above the apartment, were very accommodating and helpful. We found a great solution to store our bikes and strollers. We will be happy to come back! Everything was just right! THANK YOU for this wonderful holiday!

Great quiet apartment, perfectly located to enjoy the surroundings and take beautiful hikes. Very accommodating hosts.

It was a trip with a 3 year old. The location of the house is located between schwendi station and grindelwald terminal station, it takes about 15 minutes to walk slowly to the station, and the incline is not severe. Anita picked us up during check-in and check-out. During the trip, we used the train, and the road to the station was not difficult while dragging a stroller, and the view while walking made our family happy. The inside of the house was perfect for 4 people, and the bathroom and kitchen were clean. The view from the room was also fantastic. The host, Anita, was friendly before our trip and responded quickly and kindly to our family during our trip. I would stay here again if I visit Switzerland again in the future.
