1890's Bunkhouse Getaway

Make some memories at this family-friendly place. Built in the late 1890's, this bunkhouse was a place to rest for working cowboys. Today, you can enjoy the updated home by watching horses peacefully graze, enjoy a cookout, play a board game, or read. Located two miles from downtown Alvarado and has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a study space, and internet connection. There is a fenced area of the backyard for dogs to run around. Riding lessons are available dependent on schedule.

The bed and living area are shared space as this is a studio. The cottage is located behind main residence with self check in and check out ease. Our rustic farmhouse is located on a horse ranch and rescue. The updated kitchen provides everything you need to prepare meals. Relax next to firepit overlooking our scenic horse ranch or cook on the gas BBQ grill. The home is a duplex, (both sides can be rented together when available). This side has 1 bathroom with an antique bear claw soaking tub with a shower conversion. The bedroom has a queen bed and there is a futon in the living area.
