Sea Haven Beach House

Neal's property is on an incredible coast line with a private dock that has everything you need. He is incredibly responsive and proactive. Although Neal was out of town, his property manager Lily was also super friendly and really helpful. They were always there when we needed, very fast responses and very thoughtful and helpful. The location is 5mi south of the main town, so if you're looking for a secluded and quiet place, this is your spot. The views are amazing right out of the window and breakfast down on the dock is a dream. Great experience and a super great host. Well run all around!

Truly Beachfront Home. Breezy sunrises and sunsets

JosieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It was lovely and helpful that the host arranged for direct water taxi with our luggage to the house. The quiet refuge on the north island was a great contrast to the hustle of the south part of the Caye. While there getting around on foot and by water taxi worked well, unless you want to see the estuary on the very north side of the Caye, in which case a bike is a good idea. There were several walkable restaurant options and a small convenience store near the split. We didn’t use the kayak and paddle boards, but the pool was great for heat relief and AC in the bedrooms was nice too. Walter, the caretaker, was super helpful and brought us fresh coconuts / coconut water. Really enjoyed Mario’s snorkel tour.

Southern Sunshine

Casa Holiday was perfect for my family. The property was very clean and the pictures matched what is shown on the listing. Very thoughtful, unexpected amenities like ground, coffee, shampoo and conditioner packets, small in room safes and a bottled water dispenser. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning units worked well. The screened in porch is nice for sitting out at night without mosquitoes. The pool area was perfect and well kept. Walking distance to several restaurants. Easy to get back into town by golf cart.

3 BR Waterfront House w Private Pool

The house was beautiful and the service from Marilyn our concierge was wonderful. She responded to our texts in 1-2 minutes! She was there to collect us at the airport, and she arranged our entire vacation. She was wonderful. I didn’t realize we needed to take a boat to San Pedro. It was a 2 minute ride with Senal our captain, and 2 round trips were included daily at no charge. Senal was great! He was on site every morning cleaning the pool, and he was there to ferry us back and forth whenever we requested. Our dryer blew a belt while we were there and Senal had it fixed by the next day. He took our wet laundry to another home and put it in the dryer for us…amazing! We had several meals prepared at our villa which we arranged thru Cellina which were great. The restaurant, Coconuts, is on site and we had several wonderful meals there. Our meals were prepared and served by August and another lady, and they were so friendly, and the food and service were top notch!I highly recommend !

We chose Playa Del Sol based on a referral from one of my colleagues. It was our first trip to Belize, and we had no idea what to expect from the island. Thanks to Iz’s excellent communication (and patience), we felt like we had been there before. Upon arrival, Iz arranged a van to take us to the resort. After a 30-minute drive, we arrived to Iz’s warm welcome and complimentary killer rum punches! After unwinding at the pier, we met with Iz to plan our short trip. That evening, we spent time at the on-site bar, El Norte, where we enjoyed a complimentary dinner of stew chicken with rice & beans before heading to bed early. (Blame it on the rum punch!) We started the next day with a fishing tour led by David & Oscar—such a fun experience! The following day, we took a tour of Mexico Rocks. Overall, we felt like we had just reunited with our extended family in Belize! Spending time with Iz and his crew was truly priceless. Thank you, and see you again and again!
