Holiday rentals with a patio in Ambronay

Excellent quiet location with shops and restaurants on a lively and charming street; Great clothes washer and nice hanging rack for drying; Lovely relatively new kitchen appliances with clean and spacious refrigerator, induction stovetop, nice dishwasher and oven – we did not use the oven Air conditioning and heater are effective and towel dryer works. A couple things worth mentioning: The apartment is NOT non-smoking, which is obvious when you walk in the door. As the write-up says, this is actually someone’s living space. The closets and dresser are all full; even the top of the dresser is almost entirely covered and there are no little stands beside the bed. It’s difficult to tell what we are meant to use and what supplies to leave alone; the freezer is totally full. The bed is tucked under a slanted roof with a beam across – tall people need to watch their heads

Charming apartment in the center of town within walking distance of shopping streets, cafes and restaurants. Cozily furnished with a well-equipped kitchen. Narrow beds but with very good mattresses. It was very quiet at night. The stairwell is classic and will sparkle back after the renovations. We had a short but very pleasant stay!

Great little space in the eclectic area of Lyon. Great little bars and restaurants. Think Greenwich Village in NY, Haight Ashbury in NY, Gothic Quarter in Barcelona. Small, but perfect to drop your bags, freshen up and take on the city, shower, sleep and do it again. Up a narrow flight of stairs so heavy bags might be hard to manage but the flight of stairs is short. Uber stops right by your door to take you anywhere you don’t want to walk. If you walk, be prepared for hills. The place was clean and easy to get into. Most importantly Ricardo and Claire were very responsive, very friendly and offered recommendations. I would stay again!

Apartment as described. Clean, everything is there to make the experience positive. Absolutely delightful welcome. Easy communication. A little extra for the terrace, I would recommend!

The stay was very nice. The accommodation is clean, welcoming and spacious. The kitchen area allows us to live peacefully. This is a very good place located in a peaceful and quiet area.

Great stay for a few nights. The apartment is very pleasant and welcoming. The decoration is very nice too. It was just missing a few cooking utensils but otherwise nothing to complain about. I recommend it.

Charles' apartment is remarkably well moved into a super quiet building with a super pleasant terrace. The area is very quiet without being too far from the historic center. Charles is also a very available and pleasant host. In short, we will come back without hesitation!

Very comfortable place, very cosy and warm. We would not fault anything. The entire house was spotless. In all fairness, the best we have stayed in so far. Jean-Pierre and Alice very also extremely friendly. Will definitely come back when we visit the region.

A quiet and peaceful place. We weren't lucky enough to have snow but Cyrille helped us find beautiful slopes for skiing and beautiful views.

absolutely a hidden gem in the city! Situated in a quiet neighborhood up on the Fourviere, truly the place to be if you love to live like a local! Quiet, but not remote. Bus stop only 5mins walk away with several bus routes get you right to the city centre with literally 10mins of travel time. A small community high street nearby also offers all the groceries you need for your stay. P.s. the best bakery shop is also here! The property is a dream house for anyone that loves a good quality of living! Top quality amenities, kitchen appliances (Miele, Liebherr) you name it! Clean and tidy, yet warm and welcoming! We even enjoyed the Christmas decorations set by Sam and Louis! It is truly a home away from home! Sam and Louis were extremely friendly and helpful! the check-in was super smooth. We enjoyed visiting the places suggested by Sam and certainly the freshly laid eggs from the hen! Will definitely stay again!

Total change of scenery bucolic environment, house totally in its juice year 60 except the modern kitchen and very well equipped the big plus is the huge terrace, the jacuzzi with a magnificent view, the large hammock. Nearby shop on foot, starting point for a walk among other things the springs of the groin. Very family house comfortable bedding, bathroom in their juice too but there are two. House that suited us well for us and our two grown children aged 32 and 26

Just spent three weeks at Cile's lovely and spacial apartment. It was as described and Cile was a very helpful host - explaining everything clearly to us and immediately attending to one small issue which we had. The apartment is a little out of Lyon centre, but an easy bus ride. The view of the river and having a great nearby boulangerie and fromagerie easily make up for that. It was really pleasant. As a group of four - we really appreciate that there was adequate seating in the living space and dining room and sufficient space in the fridge and kitchen for us to cook when we wanted. It was also great to have the toilet separate to the bathroom. We did find it a little awkward to walk through the main bedroom to the bathroom - this wouldn't be a problem with family however. To be fair, I think this detail might have been lost in translation from French to the English in the website description. Would definitely recommend Cile's apartment

Chris and Tere were great hosts. They were present at the time of our arrival and showed us the house. They also gave us directions on where to have breakfast and what to visit. The house is exactly as described and had a well-stocked kitchen. There were 10 of us and we had a good time.
