We are located close to hiking, boating, parks, beer & rum tasting and more. If you want to get away from it all, this cabin is the place to be, simple but with the comforts of home.

The Hollow offers guests an offgrid escape deep in the heart of Middle Georgia’s most beautiful area. Nestled on 5 remote acres, our one-room cabin overlooks a 3 acre pond. Solar-powered water well and propane water heater for showers in the outhouse. Fire pit & firewood available on site. Limited solar power. *We are currently making improvements to our dock area.*

Conveniently located to the Jimmy Carter sites in Plains (8mi) and Americus (18mi), antiquing, birding, hunting, ATV trail riding, biking and many nearby sites of interest including Providence Canyon (30 mi), Andersonville (35 mi), and Radium Springs (43 miles).

PLEASE BE INFORMED - NO PETS ALLOWED. Come and enjoy a stay by the Flint River. We have many amenities you’ll enjoy - bring your fishing poles, boats, kayaks and enjoy a day on the river! Also, you may want a night by a fire or to grill a nice meal - we have those options too! And I’ve saved the best for last, make sure you bring your swimsuit- our pool is open for you to use as well!!

Welcome to our home on Lake Blackshear! We are located in a cove at the northern tip of the lake, surrounded by trees and beautiful nature. There is 1 queen bed, one queen sleeper sofa, and 1 futon (suitable for 1-2 small kids). There are a few restaurants nearby, a country store and a dollar general and gas stations. We are about 20 mins from I75 and larger stores like Walmart.
