Holiday rentals with lake access in Amherstburg

I believe I have now stayed here 3 or 4 times! It’s my go to on the lake and I won’t settle for any other place! This place is a must stay for anyone visiting the area, and it is especially fisherman friendly. Great boat access and great parking!

Great stay, perfect spot to have quick access to the lake if you brought a boat. House was clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. We had a great time, and will be making this our go to place for our annual trip.

Very comfortable stay, super clean & neat. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for simple hot meals. Relaxing hot tub just right for two, and oodles of clean towels. Really want to say I appreciate hosts like Jamieson who politely request a few reasonable housekeeping tasks of his guests, instead of long lists of required chores and exorbitant cleaning fees. Would definitely stay there again.

Our 2nd stay at Troy’s!!! More trips coming also this summer! As I stated before, super lake front home- just perfect! Safe, restaurant within walking distance! Plenty of room for truck and boat! Close to numerous boat launches! The home is just perfect decor and waking up with the sun/lake in your face makes this home a huge bargain! We had an amazing stay at this lovely lake house! The space had everything we needed and was a cozy place to just relax and be with family. Lindsay was an amazing host, very communicative and helpful. I would definitely stay here again next time we visit! Thanks for giving our family some wonderful memories together!

Having the dock, channel, that goes right out to the main lake, spectacular. Launched once and the end picked our boat once. The parade of guide boats in the morning got the juices flowing.

We stayed in Brenda's house for 12 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. It was exactly as described in the listing. We felt very comfortable as soon as we walked in the door. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the beautiful waterview, hot tub and peacefulness. Thank you Brenda for sharing your home with us. It was awesome!

Great location for birding close to Magee marsh and Ottawa national wildlife refuge. While it is also close to Davis-Besse power plant, you cannot see it from the condo. Nicely decorated with all the amenities.

We loved staying at this Airbnb! We appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the extra towels and toiletries. We especially appreciated their quick responses and local recommendations.

I've stayed here a few times now, and it's consistently been great. I appreciate the cleanliness and that it's on a quiet street while still being close to restaurants, shopping, etc. It's been a really nice home base for visiting local family and friends.

This beach studio is exceptionally nice! (& we've airbnb'd along Lake Erie before.) Although it has lots to offer, if I had to choose the best part it would be the views. (and that was really the purpose of this March trip) The large windows offer a panoramic expanse of Lake Erie & the extending pier. (It’s definitely worth getting up early to see the sunrise.) Seeing that view, we just had to get out & walk to the end of the pier, to watch the waves & the sea birds & enjoy the lake breeze. At the same time, the comfortable & convenient (& open) arrangement of the space kept us more than happy to spend hours inside. We fixed meals easily in the kitchen, then enjoyed them at the dining table with those beautiful lake views. The cute holiday themed decorations and thoughtful additions like cupcakes, snacks & coffee only added to the cheerful interior. Lisa has made a beautiful little getaway in the small town of Leamington! Their family was always friendly and very welcoming. Access to the park across the street and beautiful short walk to beach was so convenient and made the area feel more private as well. So relaxing and had everything you needed. It was a perfect getaway spot and I would highly recommend!

Enjoyed our time in the area. I'm from the lake area and enjoyed being centrally located to friends and family. Its a quiet location for the most part. Commonly refered to as a carriage house, located over the garage, you do here conversations and comings and goings of people adjacent to the property. We found everything we needed in the apartment. Bed was firm. which we enjoy, very cofortable. Linens were nice and served our stay well. Heating and cooling worked well and there was ample hot water. It takes a bit to reach the upstairs, but once it does, the pressure is good. Be aware that the stairway up is quite steep...may not be suitable for some. There are hand rails and a light in the stairway. There are a number of restaurants in the area...M29 diner is a favorite and Marine City Fish Company just up the river is also one of our area favorites. We would maybe stay here again if in the area, but think we prefer fully private dwellings.

Cozy and comfy place to stay with plenty of amenities! The hosts were wonderful and communicated promptly. We would stay here again!

Beautiful cottage! We loved the hot tub and loved the minimal checkout requirements. Made it much less stressful trying to leave! Loved having a place to leave garbage and not having to take it with us. Owners were incredibly responsive and kind! Great stay

I had a great week at Melissa's cottage. What questions I had were answered immediately. The park pass was really appreciated as that the reason for my visit. I would definitely stay there again if I returned to the area.

Devon’s place was great for a girls weekend trip! We felt comfortable and right at home, and we enjoyed the area for being peaceful. Looked like the photos and had everything we needed for the weekend! Would stay again!

We would highly recommend this cottage. It was absolutely beautiful with a stunning view of the lake. An extremely well-organized cottage with hosts that were happy to accommodate 😃. We were sad to leave!

The place was very cute , clean, was set up great and had everything we needed. The views were better than the pictures. We took our dogs on a couple walks and all the neighbors were incredibly friendly and a couple stopped to chat. Lukas was super helpful and responsive. Overall a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful little cottage. I highly recommend it. Morning coffee on the patio can't be beat for the wildlife lover.

This was a perfect little spot if you’re planning to visit Point Peele. Aime’s place was nice and cozy and perfect view of Lake Erie. The guess house was very well equipped with everything. It’s literally at the waterfront and the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore was exactly what I needed to relax. This is super close to a lot of nice restaurants in Kingsville. Thanks again for the local goodies, we’ll be back again.
