The Blueberry Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Blueberry Cottage is a dry cabin located right outside of Healy. This cabin offers a full sized bed, private outhouse, hot plate, fridge, grill, fire pit area and great views! Although it being a dry cabin means no running water you will have water for drinking and other needs. Since the cabin is located right outside of Healy it has easy access to the grocery store, gas stations, and restaurants. Enjoy a peaceful stay at this cozy cabin!

You'll be a stone's throw from the iconic Nenana river and famous Alaska Railroad, with plenty of opportunity for moose sighting. Located an hour (55mi) south of Fairbanks and an hour (60mi) north of Denali National Park.

RnR Homestead is located right off the Parks Hwy just 24 miles north of Denali National Park. The small town of Healy with restaurants and a grocery store is a ten minute drive south on the highway. The 80-acre property is surrounded by giant spruce and birch trees with amazing views of the Nenana River valley and the outer Alaska Range. It's bordered by state land and the northern section of Denali Park. The first floor has kitchen, bathroom & living space. The upstairs is bedrooms only.

Drive 8 miles out and you will find the end of civilization and all the peace and quiet you ever wanted. No tourists, just wildlife, breathtaking scenery, a beautiful lake, incredible views of Denali on a clear day and your only neighbor to our 5 acre parcel is Denali National Park. Across the road within a short walk is 8 Mile Lake and some of the best views of Denali you will find.

This quaint cozy cabin is a quiet and secluded get away for 2. There is a loft sleeping area for 2 additional guests with a queen bed. The cabin has recently been upgraded with Starlink for lightning fast internet/wifi during your stay. Amazing beautiful views of the Alaska range are right off the back deck. This yurt is the perfect basecamp for all your Denali adventures. Please be aware this is a semi-rustic lodging experience blending casual comforts and an authentic Alaskan experience. Don’t you want to say you’ve used an outhouse? The yurt is 15 miles from the entrance of Denali National Park (about 20 minutes). Healy is the “town” north of the park, so there are services, but no public transportation to get around.
