The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Dolly’s Stable 2 Leger lakes

Relax with family or friends at this peaceful place to stay. The stables have one bedroom and the lounge area has a double sofa bed. There are three stables adjoining so also great for going with friends or family. Leger lakes is a small family run business, three small fishing lakes. The Ruby lake has five camping pods. We have tearoom on site with 5 star hygiene rating. The tearoom is also licensed, Laughton is a small village and has beautiful walks and places of interest to visit.

The Stable House is a luxuriously converted 2 bedroom cottage in the medieval hamlet of Sookholme. It is very close to Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park, Hardwick Hall, Chatsworth House, historic Edwinstowe and a great number of other local beauty spots. A short drive away from the peak district, it is very private with its own fully fenced, dog friendly garden. A great short break destination surrounded by some beautiful walking and cycling routes including Route 6 and Sherwood Pines.
