My wife and I are sheep farmers on the property, and we rent out our house during the summer. Located in the heart of the Monts du Cantal at 1100 m above sea level, and a 15-minute drive from Riom-ès-Montagnes*, you will be close to Puy Mary and Font Sainte. You will be able to visit the farm where the sheep are raised, as well as the nearby mountain pastures. *town with all amenities: supermarkets, bakeries, butcher shop, children's playground, public swimming pool, cinema, restaurants, bars, etc.)

At an altitude of 1,200 metres, on a ridge in the middle of the volcanic Cantal mountains, you wake up to the sound of cows mooing and birds singing. Inside, there is a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with box spring beds, and a pellet stove for those cool mountain evenings. Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

Les Coustounes offers you an interior space of 180 m2, with a clean and refined decoration. The 100 m2 living room, including the ultra-equipped kitchen, is very bright and comfortable, with direct access to the terrace and its magnificent view of nature and our mountains. The 3 bedrooms, one with terrace and 2 bathrooms are upstairs. The outdoor space, on the sunny side (the sunniest side of the mountain) is vast, with meadow and forest and the swimming pool (10 X 5 M).
