Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. S on S - The Nook is located in downtown Hornell on a quite and private road. Alstom 1.5 mi; Alfred U and college 11 mi; St. James Hospital 2.5 mi; & Keuka Lake 30 mi. Restaurants and pubs are close by. Two guests are welcome in the second floor studio (outside stairs). The Nook offers a full bed, a fully equipped kitchen and separate bath with stand up shower. Perfect for traveling Dr.’s or nurses. This unit carries an animal exemption.

Maple Street Suite

The upstairs space is light and bright with huge windows and modern furniture. The master bedroom has a king size bed with wonderful gel mattress for comfy sleep. The 2nd bedroom a full size bed. A functional place that provides different common areas for your group but also provides personal cozy spots to enjoy reading your book, work or watch TV in private. There is no stove in the kitchen but an extra large convection oven, microwave, hotplace and air fryer, to satisfy your cooking needs.

The Nut House

This apartment is located in a beautiful country setting. There is private parking available for guests. Located on the first floor is the entrance to the hallway. Once inside you will have a private door to enter your private apartment. Outside you can enjoy your private patio in the back, a well kept yard, and very nice gardens. There is no stove, but we do offer amenities for simple cooking and reheating food. We also offer a basic continental breakfast with cereal and coffee.

We are centrally located between downtown Hornell and Alfred, home to Alfred State and Alfred University. You would share a large U shaped driveway with the hosts, but will find plenty of privacy in this rural setting. We’d love to have you stay!

This single level home is located just outside of Hornell, NY in a quiet, secluded country setting. Letchworth 45 mins, Watkins Glen 1 hour and Niagara Falls 2 hours. We purchased the property in 2018 and made necessary upgrades while retaining the original character of this classic home. The view of the backwoods from the living room is spectacular! We live at the adjacent property located a few hundred feet away, so we are available as needed.
