1750's cottage with open fire and beams

Take it easy at this unique and cosy cottage with a real open fire and original beams. The cottage was constructed in approximately 1750 during the reign of George II. The cottage is constructed from wood and stone and there is not a straight wall, ceiling or door casing in the house! You learn very fast (after banging your head once or twice) to duck under the low door frames and beams. The cottage is small, quirky and very cosy but with a suprisingly large master bedroom and bathroom.

A well-maintained garden is framed by several tall trees, creating a serene outdoor space. Sunlight filters through the leaves, casting gentle shadows on the lush green grass. In the distance, open fields can be seen, enhancing the peaceful rural setting.

Come and enjoy the stunning views at our home. Located conveniently between Liverpool and Manchester, 15 minutes from the M6 motorway. Our house has 2 guest bedrooms, both doubles, a family bathroom, downstairs loo and utility room. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a living room complete with wood burning stove. Logs can be provided upon request. Internet connection and smart TV are provided. Our home is ideally located for country walks with good pubs and a golf course nearby.
