Private cabin on Au Train River

June through Aug. is Sat to Sat (7 night min.) Sept. through May is 3 night minimum Enjoy this quaint, quiet, private Cabin on the Au Train River. This is not a resort. Fish from your dock, or use the row boat or two canoes included. Close to Lake Superior and Pictured Rocks. Hiking, waterfalls, fall colors, snowmobiling and other year round activities. Sleeps 6. Cabin is a no smoking, no pets cabin. Hosts readily available next door. One cube of firewood included. Additional cubes $7 each.

Rustic Bungalow in a Campground

Bungalows have an open floor plan. You walk in to a queen bed and a set of full size bunk beds (bring your own linens and pillows). Also included is electricity, a mini fridge and table. Outside the bungalow you will find a fire pit, picnic table and a small charcoal grill. There is no running water in the cabin and the BATHROOMS ARE LOCATED A SHORT DISTANCE AWAY (25 feet) within the campground and include warm showers and flushing toilets. Drinkable water also located at the campground.

PLEASE NOTE: We just had a cancellation for 2025...August 3 - 7th. A "little condo in the pines" with a view of Lake Superior which is a short walk across the street. The AuTrain River empties into Lake Superior across the street, so the sand beach is beautiful & river water warm. Cottage is neat, clean, & cozy with all appliances a comfortable home would have along with privacy! I feel this is a very important feature as our guests have the whole yard to themselves.

There is an awesome firepit area located right on the shoreline with views of Autrain Island, Grand Island and more... The Suite is a perfect getaway or honeymoon destination for couples looking for that special spot. There is a nice big TV, WiFi and Netflix, OR 2 big picture windows overlooking the Lake. Our cabin is set on the beautiful AuTrain river, just minutes from Lake Superior. It is fully equipped to make your stay relaxing and fun! A full kitchen which includes a stove, fridge, and a BBQ grill to cook what you would like. There is a queen size bed, and a natural gas fireplace, and full bathroom. We also have a deck to enjoy the wildlife from. Hummingbirds, Blue Heron, geese, ducks, eagles, river otters and more have all been spotted from the front porch.
