Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Augusta

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in dem Haus. Wenn der Ätna frei ist, ist der Blick von der Terrasse atemberaubend. Es hat auch Spaß gemacht, die Hühner zu füttern (dafür gab es täglich ein Ei ). Die Katzen leben draußen und kommen nicht ins Haus- das fanden wir sehr angenehm. Das Haus ist auch im frühen Frühjahr gut bewohnbar, da es gut beheizbar ist. Der Kontakt zu Tina und ihrem Mann war super- sehr freundlich und immer eine schnelle Antwort. Wir kommen gerne wieder !

We really enjoyed our stay in the house. The house is really beautiful and big. Our son of four liked to play in the garden. there is a Bush road next to the house, but for us it was not a problem.

Piera and Alessandro were waiting for us when we arrived with wine and a warm fire. The place is super cozy, the kitchen well equipped and is close to all the places we wanted to visit around the Etna and Catania. It was really an amazing experience to come back home after a long day of walking to light the fire and get some rest in a calm and quiet environment. They also gave us recommendations of what to visit and checked on us regularly. Totally recommended!

Great house to spend holiday with family, well suited for all of us 9 . Giuseppe and Graziella, met us and introduced to the house, very friendly and helpful hosts. House has all necessary for a nice holiday to feel at home, pleased to find cold water in the fridge, nice sweet grapes, pasata and pasta for a quick lunch in the cupboard, tea and all other basics to cook like home. Coffe machine did not work on first day, but hosts were very responsive and brought their own, they even bought us the coffee pods, very generous of them, thank you we really appreciated . Well located for a beach holiday, only 7 min walk to a wonderful long sandy beach. We were out of season apparently and no restaurants nearby on walking distance, but not an issue as we had a car and many around within 10-15 min drive.

We had a wonderful few days stay. The house and gardens are just beautiful, even better than the images. Ketty the housekeeper was lovely and Francesca was very responsive. The house is situated 15 min drive from Noto so very simple to get to the shops etc. There are no shops/restaurants within walking distance but we were able to drive a short distance to get everything we needed. Would highly recommend anyone looking for beautiful and traditional Italian villa in a quiet and relaxing area.

Die Erfahrungen, die wir in diesem wunderschönen Landhaus als Gäste von Vincenzo gemacht haben sind unbeschreiblich: Zum einen ist die Unterkunft perfekt gelegen auf einem Berg mit einem weiten Blick ins Tal, umsäumt von mehreren Blumenwiesen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr weitläufig und hat eine große Terrasse. Alles war sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. An den Abenden war es im April noch recht kühl, deshalb haben wir den Kamin benutzt. Wofür alles nötige zusammen- und bereitgestellt war und wir die Wärme genießen konnten. Zum anderen sind das Highlight Vincenzo selbst und seine Tiere, die ebenfalls auf dem Anwesen leben. Wir haben ausführlich Tipps für die Umgebung bekommen und wurden immer herzlich von allen begrüßt und beschnuppert :) Insgesamt ein delight!

Giorgio’s house was exactly what we wanted for our Modica vacation. A touch of the Sicilian countryside not too far from town. It truly did become home for the time we were there. Cooking pizzas in the wood fire oven and daily soaks in the wellness center. We won’t soon forget this beautiful place. The amazing cherry on top was Giorgio’s amazing hospitality and desire to share his local favorites with us.

We had a wonderful week. The flat is beautiful, a great location, it was lovely to sit on the roof terrace and the kitchen/living room was very comfortable for 5 of us to relax after a day of walking around Ortigia

This place is super clean and cozy, with a terrific view of both the Etna volcano and the seashore. You could have both shimmering dots along the coast and the flaming mountain summit - if you're lucky enough. The supermarket is easy to reach and the airbnb is close to the city center. Chiara is super reliable and responds quickly. Angela is super nice as well. I would definitely recommend this house to you!

We had a great time on your apartment- would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a high quality retreat. The apartment is located in walking distance to down town aci Trezza and has an amazing view of the ocean. It was great to have private parking as we wouldn’t have felt too comfortable having the rental car on the side of the road. Niky was fast to respond if we had any questions regarding the apartment or the area. One thing we would recommend is having firewood for the indoor fireplace at hand for future visitors- as spending time looking for right kind of firewood could have been avoided. Wir hatten als Familie mit 2 Kindern einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und alles war wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Die Terrasse zum Meer ist wirklich ein Traum. Toller Sonnenaufgang jeden Morgen. Trotz der ruhigen Lage sehr zentral zum Ortskern mit allen Restaurants und die tollen Strände in nahegelegenen Naturschutzgebiet sind auch nicht weit mit dem Auto (10-15min). Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen, sie hat unseren Sizilienaufenthalt bereichert!

I can’t say more good things about Sabrina’s place. We practically lived out on the balcony but the interior was also beautiful, immaculate, clean, and carefully curated with beautiful and local decor. We lived in a dream this week! Sabrina was also extremely communicative and provided great recommendations as well! She gave us a tour when we arrived and was so pleasant. Check out was made so easy having to do nothing with sheet or trash too. The pull out couch was made when we arrived and is in the bed room, allowing for the living room couches to still be used. It was comfy, cozy, and had everything we needed. Including an unbeatable view and balcony. Grazie millie!!!

If Sicily was an apartment - this would be it. It is lovely, very well decorated and gives you the full sicilian feeling. The terrace is very useful, you have the view on the sea and the mountains and it is large enough for all activities. Private and gated parking in front of the building, very easy to park safely. The host had all of the qualities of a good host - on time, responsive, willing to help, even gave us a small gift for easter. If you come here you will have a nice apartment, a friendly host and a good experience overall.

What a view!! This place was great. Plenty of space for the four of us. Clean and comfortable too. The kitchen was very well equipped. Many, many stairs and an uphill walk to get to town, but lots to do and places to eat when you get there! A+

Villa Gorna is an amazing location with fantastic hosts. The property is as described and photos are accurate. A lot of care was taken to put nice extra features. Orazio was very responsive and helpful, with offers available for tours etc. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

Villa Lenzo is gelegen in een prachtige omgeving. Veel privacy op de locatie. Het dorpje Ferla is met de auto in 5 minuten te bereiken. Daar zijn een paar restaurantjes te vinden en ook een Coop supermarkt. Het is een must om het diner bij Quattro Canti te nuttigen. Traditionele gerechten en de pizza Etna is een aanrader! Verder zijn er een bakker en slager te vinden. In de directe omgeving vind je Pantalica. Een prachtig gebied om tussen de rotsen en langs de rivier een wandeling te maken. Maar je hoeft er niet per se op uit. Heerlijk van de zon genieten bij de villa met af en toe een heerlijke plons in het schitterende zwembad. Er is ook een grote gas BBQ aanwezig om lekker bij de villa een hapje te eten. Voor de sportivelingen is er een tafeltennistafel. Wij vonden het een top locatie en de host Paola heeft ons van allerlei info voorzien om ons verblijf nog aangenamer te maken. Dankjewel Paola!! Kortom, een super locatie om helemaal bij te komen. Wo soll man anfangen? Umgebung: ruhig gelegen, schöner Blick auf den Etna, mitten im Grünen. Das Anwesen an sich ist riesig, der Gastgeber lädt dazu ein, sich an seinen Feldfrüchten zu bedienen. Das Haus an sich: sehr geräumig, nicht überfrachtet mit Schnick-Schnack, aber mit Liebe geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Küche mit Herd, Ofen und Mikrowelle. Eine Dusche mit schönen heißen Wasserstrahl. Ein heimeliger Kamin im Ess-Wohnzimmer. Wir waren nur zu zweit aber auch zu viert ist jede Menge Platz. Katzen- und Hundeliebhaber freuen sich über 4 Katzen und einen nichtbellenden Hund, die auf dem Anwesen sind. Und der Gastgeber: Wirklich außergewöhnlich aufmerksam und um das Wohl des Gastes bemüht. Man merkt, das Anwesen ist sein Baby, er hält alles im Schuss, er ist proaktiv, immer erreichbar und gibt jede Menge Tipps, nimmt sich wirklich Zeit. Fast entsteht auch in kurzer Zeit ein freundschaftliches Verhältnis. Erklärte uns über 1 Stunde Pistazienernte. Immer wieder bei ihm, wenn am Etna sind.

This villa is perfect for a family stay. It’s a beautiful escape from the city, but conveniently located within an hour drive from Taormina and catania. The hospitality that Isabella and her husband showed in preparing the villa for our family’s needs and helping to coordinate activities for us to do was the icing on top of the cake. Would absolutely stay here again

A private, relaxed villa for our group of two families with four kids. The pool area and surrounds were put to extensive use! Alberto is a wonderful, responsive host and a great local resource, with his many trip and restaurant suggestions adding great value to our trip. Etna put on a great show too which was a bonus!! All round great memories!

Great location with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing time with family or friends. Hosts are very attentive and help with everything. Highly recommend!

This house was lovely with its private pool, basketball court, bbq area and huge garden. The view of Etna from the front of the garden was great to watch - we even got to see her active! We used the car whenever we left the house but found a local bar by the pier and supermarkets nearby. We chose the location for its proximity to Taormina, Castelmola, Etna and Catania. Beds were super comfy and we had all we needed. Michele was a great host.
