The cabin is 120 years old and totally renovated and has all modern facilities and yet the historical charm. There is a new bathroom and a new large kitchen with dishwasher. You only have to walk a few meters along the quay and you will find a good restaurant that is open during the summer season. Right outside the door you will find beautiful hiking terrain waiting...

Cozy old cabin in the forest with 12v electricity. Located by Kjerringnesvatnet in Vesterålen, 15 km from Sortland. Suitable for families or couples who want nature experiences. The cabin is located by a river and water. The canoe can be used freely if you want to paddle in the river. Kjerringnesvannet is salmon-bearing water and you can fish in the water if you buy a fishing license. The cabin is located in the forest with lots of great hiking areas near the cabin and around Vesterålen.

In February and March, the skrei comes to Lofoten, and provides a fantastic fishing. Popular place for mountain hiking with and without skis. By driving only a few hours you can reach other amazing mountains, beaches and beautiful towns in Lofoten and Vesterålen. It takes 20 min to drive to Svolvær, 15 min to Svolvær airport.

The space is good for couples and families . We call the cabin Rødstua, and it is located next to Nordlandshuset which we also rent out. On the first floor there is one bedroom , combined living room/kitchen, bathroom with shower and washing machine and hallway. In the living room there is a ladder up to the loft where there are 3 beds. In the living room there is a sofa bed. Patio with sea view.
