Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

Round room set in the holm oaks above the stream with a suspended terrace. Bathtub, toilet, sink, double bed. The cabin is located above the Lou Abeilhs farmhouse with a bird's eye view of the valley. To access it from the parking lot there is a small path of 150 m and about forty steps. With its large volumes, Versailles parquet flooring and monumental fireplace, the room is at the heart of this property, which belongs to the same family since 1781. With a large terrace at your disposal, and the exclusive use of the swimming pool (open after May 20th) and grounds, you're guaranteed a unique and rejuvenating stay. A countryside suite

This 56 m2 suite, giving access to a private terrace of more than 15 m2 overlooking a pond, combines contemporary style and the character of old stonework. A large unoverlooked glass area will allow you to feel at one with nature. Guests can relax by the pyramid fireplace (lit from October to the end of April) as well as in the suite's private spa (jacuzzi). Breakfast will be offered with a sweet or savory option according to your preferences.

We limit the number of these companions to two.
