Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Avalon

Clean, safe neighborhood. House was squeaky clean. 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms great for my son and I. Whole Foods and a lot of restaurants close by. Didn’t have time to use the community resources.

It was nice, clean and quiet . I would definitely stay there again. It had everything you need:

Aly’s place was great for our family. Check in and check out was easy. The kitchen and the apartment were adequately equipped, the beds were comfortable, the pool was a bit chilly but the hot tub was great. Aly was quick in her responses and overall, it was a very nice stay!

Good communication, easy check-in/out, place was as described & looked like the photos. Location was a perfect home base for our OC visit. Felt safe & secure. On-site access to EV charging is definitely a huge plus. Nice amenities. Would stay again!

Nate’s stay was just what I needed for a local “getaway.” It was near good food, shops, and the pool and spa were great.

I had a great stay, the apartment is beautiful and has everything you need in the kitchen. I didn’t try the gym, but that’s an option. As far as the host goes, he went above and beyond. Met me in person with the keys and when I forgot my ear pods, he made it possible for me to meet him and retrieve them after I checked out. I will stay again.

Beautiful place to relax and have fun. Look forward to the visit every year. Best way to do Catalina is at Blake’s. I’ve stayed at many properties all over Catalina and this property is definitely me and my family’s favorite. Blake is always a great host and I look forward to spending time at his property every year.

Great place to stay, doesn’t appear that it gets rented often, no soap, and limited amenities. Host wasn’t quick to respond, but overall great views and great location.

Overall stay was amazing, with beautiful views. Check in went smooth thanks to the host explaining everything beforehand. I would recommend downloading the Circuit app for transportation from the check-in location to Hamilton Cove. Circuit transportation is a lot cheaper than catching a taxi. The Hamilton Cove unit is a well-maintained updated condo. The unit does come with a golf cart which is a bit worn, however it got us around the island during our stay. The views from the unit are spectacular and it’s a quiet community. Would definitely stay here again.

First of all, we are scheduled to go and stay there in February. But the weather was so bad. The boat would not sail so they let us change the dates which was great. I appreciate how they accommodated us ..The price was pretty steep, but they included the free golf cart which was great so that equaled out to a better value if we had no golf cart then it would’ve been steep but for the money, it was worth the view pretty quiet in there. But we tried our best to keep quiet. We enjoyed our view from our room and our living room. But I do think checkouts should be according to the weather when it’s cold outside you don’t wanna hang out down by the beach you wanna go inside. They did give us a little bit early check in when we arrived. And when we checked-out we did ask for later check out. They did extend it by one hour, but they should have told us sooner not an hour before checkout .My husband didn’t come on the trip Because of the check-in and checkout times.

Beautiful complex with gorgeous views and lots of nice amenities. Loved staying at Hamilton Cove in Catalina Island. Looks like a village on a Greek island, quaint, charming and peaceful.

Wow, what can I say! Such an amazing place and an amazing location! The unit was located in the perfect location with views to die for, plenty of room inside and out for luxurious living and memorable visit to Catalina. It was far enough from the dense city of Avalon so you felt a world away, but close enough on a golf cart to get there in a few minutes. We appreciated the elegance of the space as well as the creative decor. Well stocked with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Amber was always available for questions, communication was superb. The most important thing, that I nailed my anniversary...happy wife, happy life. Thank you Amber and the Catalina Dream Vacations team!

Happy to have found this place! Was perfect for family of 6 to relax and have plenty of space for cooking meals, sleeping, showering after beach, etc. The market and amenities close by was an added plus. The host was super quick, responsive and helpful video / info for the unit.

Beautiful grounds. Currently renovating several buildings. Walkable to beach but shuttle might be a better bet. No walkable restaurants but convenient to beach towns of Newport and Laguna. Go to Mama D’s while staying. Golf is expensive for what you get in the area, Marriott rounds available at Pelican.

Had a wonderful stay at DJ and Brandee’s home last weekend while my mom and I were in town for the Surf City Half Marathon! The house is gorgeous and comfortable with fantastic amenities - everything was as described. It’s a short walk to downtown and was perfect location for us to get to the starting line. The pool and their big comfy couch were perfect for our post-race recovery. The kitchen is awesome; I loved cooking in it. DJ and Brandee were fantastic hosts — always responsive and kind. Really appreciated their hospitality and highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you!!!

Warm and welcoming family. Rich life experiences and enjoyment of life to share. Although we also had some time to ourselves, they were always open to engage. Back patio connects to the room and nice to relax in. The playground a block away was great for the kids.

We have stayed here before and we will stay again! The house is clean and has everything we need. The location is perfect. Jay and Bowie are super responsive. This house continues to be the best airbnb experience we have.

Great location, near shopping and the beach. Great neighborhood. The beds were comfortable. The home was a bit dated, but all was clean and well maintained. The cupboards need to be cleaned out a bit. And the dishwasher is getting a little old. But we really enjoyed the stay. We would do it again.

This home in Huntington Beach was absolutely beautiful and even better than the pictures — which is rare to find! Every part of the house was thoughtfully designed and welcoming. The backyard was cozy and peaceful, perfect for relaxing, and watching a movie in the living room was such a treat with the beautiful open layout. The kitchen and open space were stunning and full of natural light. As someone who works remotely, I found the space incredibly comfortable and inspiring — it really helped spark creativity. Receiving Amazon packages was easy and hassle-free, which made our stay even smoother. Aaron was an amazing host — extremely accommodating, kind, and helpful throughout our stay, while still giving us full privacy. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we would absolutely love to stay here again. Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting Huntington Beach!
