Had an amazing weekend at this cabin! The fireplace was perfect for cozy nights, and one of the highlights was feeding deer right out of our hands one morning. The whole experience was unforgettable, and we can't wait to come back and explore the beautiful mountain town of Beech, NC again. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

We had a really great time at Crab Orchard House! It was a beautiful property and had so much character. My kids loved the old time charm and was close to all the fun things to do in the mountains! Would definitely stay again!

Stunning million dollar view!!!! Absolutely one of the best in the region! The cabin has a good selection of toys, books, boardgames, puzzles, and DVDs to entertain a whole family. Plus very cozy beddings! Tip: Read the host's instructions. The location is easy to find, but you do need a 4wd car and some years of driving experiences to drive uphill and downhill on a short gravel road that leads to the house. If you arrrive with two cars, you'll need to coordinate where to park beforehand because they can't both turn around next to the cabin.

Another great Winter stay at Got Rocks! We’ve stayed here many times before and we’ve always enjoyed the proximity to the things we enjoy nearby such as skiing, wineries, groceries, restaurants, etc. there is lots of space to spread out, and everything we needed in the kitchen to make meals whenever we wanted. Thanks again Wesley for letting us use your place!

We visited for President’s Day weekend and had a lovely stay with our elementary age kids. Check in was very straightforward. The house was well equipped and spotless with tons of space, including a mudroom, a functional fridge with ice/water dispenser and a garbage disposal, things I’ve found are often lacking in Airbnbs. Further, we really appreciated the coffee bar and separate bowls for our Frenchie - very thoughtful! My kids loved using the big master tub, and my husband and I are always pleased to see double vanities. Beds were comfortable with lots of extra linens available. The host was super responsive. It snowed while we were there and we were able to navigate the driveway without an issue. Lastly, a functional 2 car garage with garage door openers! So valuable in freezing/snowy weather. All around a great house for a family vacation.

We had a enjoyable stay. The view is beautiful and the inside is cozy. We liked the easy access to the ski slope. My teenagers asked me to book it again for next season.

Great location to hit the AT. Great hospitality and his wife makes THE BEST cookies! Great place to stay if you are on the trail or just in the area on vacation.

Definitely a cozy place to stay! Everything was clean and extra stuff were provided. The sofa bed was not as comfortable for older people like me or my friend, but the bed was a dream to sleep in cause our backs didn't hurt by morning! Amazing! And the view out the window is spectacular! We love the balcony which you get to see the summit of Sugar Mountain as well as the town to the north. Easy walk to the ski slope that we did for a day hike in April. The checkout is one of the most simplest to do. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone's trip to Sugar Mountain!

Trey’s place hit all the marks for what I needed - clean, cozy, comfy, and affordable. Bonus points for an amazing loose leaf tea selection, gorgeous mountain views at sunrise and sunset, and close to everything I wanted to do in the area. (Grandfather Mtn, Linville Falls, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster were on my list - did them all in a day.) All instructions were clear and easy, and I had everything I needed for an enjoyable weekend away in the NC mountains. Go stay here and support western NC!! I hope to come back again soon :)

We really enjoyed our stay at this pretty condo and the view of Grandfather Mountain is worth the price alone! The condo is easy to find and had everything we needed. Although we only ate breakfast here, the kitchen looked to have anything you would need to cook a nice dinner. The bathrooms were squeaky clean and we were provided with enough toiletries and towels for our visit. The location is perfect for going to Valle Crucis, Boone or Banner Elk or simply relaxing on the porch. Ronnie gave lots of good information and was super easy to communicate with! We will definitely stay here again in the future!

We had another great stay at Retreat on the Ridge! Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. The view is unbeatable and always our favorite part of our stay!

Though it’s close to the main road, you need four-wheel drive in winter to get to this condo. We got stuck and could not reach the condo- ended up driving to the next town for snow chains as that was the only way to get there. It’s a nice place and very close to Beech Mountain but important to be aware of accessibility in winter.

Fabby is a wonderful host! The beautiful unit was well stocked with everything we needed. I see the care Fabby puts into making guests very comfortable for their stay. We adored being so close to the slopes. We could see the chair lift from the balcony. I highly recommend this location. We would love to return.
