Breakfast is a cold self-served buffet in the 'Den'.

It was built in 1620, once owned by Beatrix Potter, surrounded by hills and trees, and with astounding views. At night, the silence is total. The house stands on its own in a rural setting and is close to the ferry for the Island of Kerrera. The view from the house is over looking the Sound of Kerrera with yachts, fishing boats and ferries passing by. It's two miles to Oban which has a large choice of places to eat. There is virtually no public transport to the house. Taxis are available from the railway station area in the town. Visitors are asked to arrive after 17.00 hours and on the morning of departure to leave by 10.00.

A vegan B&B. The front door is shared with the host. Continental breakfast - porridge, muesli toast. Ensuite, twin room. The room looks out onto the garden, where the host may be spotted weeding. Guests may sit out in the garden and enjoy a beautiful view of rolling hills in a quiet friendly atmosphere. I have a shed where bikes can be stored. There is a play park near the house. A short walk to the holy isle ferry.

Accommodation is offered in the simple and stylish conversion of the farm outbuildings. Situated two minutes from Balloch in a quiet and peaceful location. A continental breakfast is left in the fridge for you to prepare including: muesli, bread, milk, orange juice, cheese, oatcakes, fruit, jam, shortbread, ground coffee and a selection of teas.
