The painter Caspar David Friedrich sought respite here 200 years ago.

From the train station you can take the S-Bahn to Dresden, Meissen or Saxon Switzerland. The city of Pirna charges a guest tax, which is payable separately and in cash upon arrival. This is €3/night per person.
