Cozy older house with new bathroom. Plenty of space. Quick and good communication, we would love to come back.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Inger is a wonderful host with suggestions on activities to do in the area as well as where to dine and shop. As we were staying the weekend prior to Easter it was great to get the timely info that most things close Thursday and Friday prior to the weekend so we could plan accordingly. We enjoyed the apartment so much that we stayed an additional day and would have stayed longer had travel plans allowed. Immensely enjoyed speaking with her and learning about the area and some insights into Norway. A great place to relax and recharge with the stunning views. Will fondly remember this place and hope to visit again.

This is a great place to stay to really appreciate the power and beauty of Norway’s fjord country. The house is a fifteen minute drive or taxi trip (ask Bekka for the number) from the wharf where the ferry docks, set on a hill above the main road. That position allows the visitor to take in the wider scenery of the dramatic hills and expanses of water. The views, from the living room and the window upstairs, are nothing short of spectacular. The well-signposted network of walks in the area has an easy branch that you can pick up on the hill just above the house. That walk was one of the highlights of our fortnight in Scandinavia. It is a gentle stroll with a few steep bits at the edge of a Norwegian forest, with gorgeous lookouts all along the way. The house itself is a lovely warm farmhouse. Spacious, with generous bedrooms and an excellent kitchen. Strongly recommended.

A great house in a great location, with great amenities. The proximity to the fjord and the architecture of the house is a fantastic mix. We felt very comfortable in this house very quickly. Sverre is a great host and very proactive.
