Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Balestrate

We had a wonderful time at Rosanna's beach house. Rosanna welcomed and warmly and we felt right at home. She gave us tips for things to do and was always easily accessible. The sea on the front door is beautiful and very suitable for small children.

We had a wonderful stay at Umbertos family home! Thanks a lot Umberto, for all the recommendations etc.! We enjoyed the house a lot, it was very clean, the high ceiling and the splitlevels made the house feel welcoming. A wonderful garden, nice hills surrounding the place and the view of the sunset from above was amazing!!

Our stay in Marina's "Casetta Perfetta " was very pleasant, thanks to a cozy environment equipped with all comforts, with attention to cleanliness and details, exceeding our expectations: pantry provided, drinks in the fridge and a nice basket of Sicilian citrus. The strategic location allowed us to visit the historic center of Palermo on foot, and easily access all services. Marina is a kind and helpful host, always ready for any need, also giving us great suggestions on what to visit and where to eat. We highly recommend it!

The experience at Gianluca's villa was simply unforgettable. Immersed in an oasis of tranquility, the villa offers unparalleled tranquility, ideal for those who want to get away from the daily hustle and bustle. The pool, perfectly cared for, is the real heart of the house: spending the days on the bathtub with a splendid view of the sea has been restorative. The view is breathtaking, with the sea stretching over the horizon, offering incredible shows especially at sunset. At night, the starry sky was the icing on the cake. The lack of light pollution has made it possible to admire once celestial times punctuated by stars, creating a magical and romantic atmosphere. In short, this villa is perfect for those looking for an elegant and relaxing retreat, where the sea, nature and peace meet in perfect balance. I can't wait to go back!

Beautiful hosts who were so helpful. The villa was beautiful and felt so authentically Sicilian. Very comfortable, roomy and clean. Decorated beautifully with gorgeous art everywhere.

Great place, certainly designed to enjoy in hotter weather so outside areas can be enjoyed and not put away with the wind as was the case with us! Unfortunately came on a stormy weekend beyond everyones control. Recommend hiring a car if staying with Maia, only 15 min walk from train station but area isn’t particularly pedestrian friendly and trains arent too often/didnt run past 9pm. But none of this the hosts fault, an oversight by myself. Thanks for having us, seeing the ocean from the bedroom was definitely a highlight!

A peaceful quiet location away from the crowds, but close to Trapani. The photos and description accurately match the house. The living area is a great place to relax at the end of the day either cooking a meal or having a drink. Vincenza is a real pleasure to communicate with and quickly answered questions, or provided a few additional items for our stay.

The Adil’s apartment is like on the photos. The two principal rooms are big. One with 3 beds and the other one with 2 beds. The third room don’t have windows and a double bed. The kitchen is small, but enough for preparing a quick lunch or a breakfast. It is really near Central Station, so it’s very easy to arrive by train from the airport. Adil answers you quickly when you have questions and always try to help you.

We were very warmly welcomed by Sergio and Stefania. The accommodation is pleasant, rich in history and borrowed from the spirit of Palermo. Sergio's attention to our arrival: aperitif, visit of the apartment and many and wise tips were great. Grazie per tutti! The location makes it easy to visit the central neighborhoods of Palermo. We loved our stay and would be very happy to come back. 110% recommended location.

Highly recommend staying here! We stayed for a week and it was a great base to enjoy Palermo from. The kitchen is well equipped and the balcony is great. I was working during the stay and the WiFi was very reliable. Michele was a great host and we would stay here if we were in Palermo again.

Alessandro was a great host. Always very responsive and even came late one evening when we had trouble with the lock. A very spacious flat. It was the only one on the floor so had lots of balconies, windows and light. It is within walking distance of all the sights in Palermo and lots of great restaurants. The flat was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Such a cute and quiet place to get away from the city just what we needed! Tania was so nice and we were able to hang out in the garden, pick the fig trees, have eggs from her chickens! Just incredible experience!

The apartment is located in the best Palermo’s area, everything reachable by foot and amazing bars and restaurants few minutes walking distance. The apartment is perfect for 2-4 people, everything you need is inside and it is super cozy and beautiful. On top of it, Enrico is a very helpful and kind host. I highly recommend this place.

This place was wonderful. It was homey and spacious and tastefully decorated. It was also perfectly located for visiting the historic center. I loved the wooden floors and marble staircases. For the size, it was an incredible value. For summer, there is air-conditioning. On the downside, the bathrooms and kitchen hadn't been updated. However, the bathtub on the second floor was huge and worth luxuriating in. The kitchen was tiny, but we didn't use it. We might have if the host had supplied a coffee maker and some coffee, which was done in the other apartments in Sicily we rented. Because we had trouble finding a nearby market, so we had breakfast in a café on the main street. A list of nearby services would have been welcome. Finally, as others have noted, there is some noise from the bar downstairs, especially on the weekend--even in March. We didn't mind it, but I imagine that in summer with windows open, it might be a problem. I would rent here again in a heartbeat.

Our stay at Lilli's house was just perfect....Lilli organized everything well...Directions... reception by Giovanni ....small provisions....communication also great with her....responds immediately....the house is a small gem and the garden with the many exotic trees, the view of the mountains, the great pool, the tranquility, just wonderful. Giovanni is the good soul of the estate and always has a tip in stock...the surroundings are great, especially we liked the ornate Parrini. Thanks Lilli for the super hospitality! We had a wonderful time, and loved your pool. Hope to come back sometime....

We had a thoroughly enjoyable week and although we had a couple of problems they were addressed quickly. The location is beautiful, peaceful and private. The space was a perfect size for our family of four and we could have managed another two people easily. The pool was a bit cold in October but that was somewhat to be expected - the sea is warmer though. The house is finished to a very high standard. Whilst the drive to the property isn't for the feint hearted, it's worth it when you get there. There is a good but small supermarket about 3km away on the main road. Local highlights include Scopello which has a number of nice restaurants and a small private beach (where Oceans 12 was filmed). We enjoyed hiking in the nature reserve which is ~5km away and had nice secluded beaches to swim off (head further than the first beach). Further afield the salt pans in Trapani are good and we enjoyed a food tour of Balastrate and an olive oil/wine tour of the Augustali farm (through AirBnB)

We had a great stay. Our host was helpful and quick to attend to our needs. The house itself was brilliant, great location next to the beach and a short walk into town. Would recommend and would return.

Stunning Airbnb with spectacular views overlooking Scopello. The house is even nicer than the pictures. Beautiful pool, lovely sun porch on second floor, and hot tub was great for the cool early April nights. Sara, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful with recommendations. The house was in a very quiet, peaceful hamlet outside Scopello. It is tucked away down a gravel road, so it was very helpful to have Sara meet us near town and drive the last stretch to the house. We hope to return!

Amazing! Magical! You should stay here :) Honestly, this is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in the world including fancy hotels. The house is located on a nature reserve, which meant it was quiet and beautiful with truly spectacular views. The sound of the ocean, the fragrant smells of the garden, the relaxing patio overlooking the cliffs and the water - it just seemed unreal. Our friends said it was like being in a movie. The house was very comfortable and relaxed but also well done - modern kitchen, bathrooms and doors. Easily space for 8 people. Caterina was a fantastic host - very easy to communicate with and had a whole array of goodies for us when we entered including fresh fruit, cookies, bread, jam, tea, coffee, milk etc. The town nearby was walkable and we ate at a great pizzeria close by. The nature preserve, tide pools, everything - just phenomenal. I can’t recommend highly enough - and I can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful villa! The property is stunning, with a great pool, breathtaking views, and plenty of outdoor seating areas. The house is spacious and well stocked with everything we needed. It felt more like staying in a much-loved family holiday home than a rental. We’d happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.

The views from the villa were absolutely stunning. We felt right at home and enjoyed making dinner and sitting outside on the patio. Pietro was so welcoming and even drove us to the grocery store so we could stock up on essentials. Would highly recommend anyone looking to stay in Palermo to stay here. Private, comfortable, and beautiful. If you are able to rent a car, that is recommended. Note, an international driving permit (IDP) is required and needs to be obtained prior to renting a car.

We absolutely loved our stay. The villa was perfect for a large group of people. In our case, we had an extended (3week) family reunion with lots of people coming and going during that time. Vincenzo and his family were so welcoming and helpful and their restaurant and winery recommendations were fantastic. The facility is just as beautiful as it looks in the photos. It felt like we were living in a palace. The hot tub was wonderful especially for the younger crowd. Vincenzo arranged for a chef to come in one evening to cook a meal for us - it was absolutely delicious. Overall, a fantastic experience!

We loved spending time at Antonino’s place. The property is absolutely gorgeous with an amazing view and the house is just what we needed. There are very nice beaches and places to see nearby, only a short drive away. If we come back in Sicily, we’ll definitely consider Antonino’s place again.
