Half-timbered house in Wehlen - Apartment

The town of Wehlen is located in the Upper Elbe Valley in the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park. The tranquil health resort looks back on almost 800 years of history. The market house is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel of Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

Our apartment is located directly at the spa park in Bad Schandau. There are numerous restaurants, supermarkets, the Toskanatherme, the Kirnitzschtalbahn, the historic Sendig lift or, for example, the National Park Center in the immediate vicinity. Directly from the property you can hike to the Schrammsteine, the Kohlbornstein or the Rathmannsdorfer lookout tower. All other highlights of Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland can be reached quickly by car or public transport.

Here you have an ideal starting point for hikes and excursions into the rocky world of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains with its mountains to conquer and wild, romantic valleys. The city centre and public transport (S-Bahn, bus and boat) are about 15 minutes' walk away.

Sie bietet viel Licht und Platz, komfortable Betten, eine wunderschöne Aussicht, eine voll ausgestattete Küche und einen privaten Parkplatz. Nach einer langen Wanderung oder Fahrradtour lässt es sich wunderbar auf dem Balkon am Wasser entspannen. Wer noch Lust hat, kann 5 Minuten spazieren gehen und die Muskeln in der Therme entspannen.

The famous Malerweg leads right past. Ideal for excursions to the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, but also to the surroundings of Pirna and Dresden.

Königstein Cottage

In the house there is a fireplace for the cool days and in the garden you can barbecue or simply enjoy the great starry sky at night.
