Lovely property and absolutely breathtaking views! The area was peaceful and the place was super comfortable, made us feel right at home. Photos don’t do the cottage justice. The road to reach the property was a little tricky so anyone who isn’t an expert driver may struggle a bit but the caretaker, Dilip bhaiya, was absolutely helpful. He helped us navigate the route and also arranged taxis for us. He was responsive and made our stay so much more comfortable! Would love to visit again!

We visited Archie's place in June '17. This place is in Barlow Ganj area of Mussorie and is secluded from the maddening crowd of Mall Road. It boasts of a breathtaking view from the sitting area and makes one feel very close to nature. The room interiors are done wonderfully and are of absolutely top-notch quality . A special mention is due here about the hosts themselves, Archie and Sanjeev. They made us feel at home and comfortable from the time we walked in and went out of their way to help us with suggestions and even transport arrangements. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is wanting to be in nature's lap and yet not comprising on luxury! All in all, a great stay.

As a solo lady traveler I had an incredible stay at Cliffside Cosy. Felt very safe. The place is decorated in the boho style and is absolutely adorable. Has been very well maintained and is kept incredibly clean. Vessels and even staple food provisions have been provided. For more intensive cooking you must stock up before coming Could sit for hours on the balcony watching the sunset. If you want peace and quiet then this is the place for you. I would have stayed indefinitely if I could. Champa the caretaker is a star. Diptansh and Rohit are super responsive and very helpful. Rohit came all the way from Dehradun to help me settle in and checked up on whether I wanted anything during my stay. He was there at checkout too to make sure everything was in order. Only one downside there is absolutely no connectivity here and one must rely on wifi. Full marks to this property and I highly recommend it.

Woodfins was a great place to stay.. The view was excellent and AQ is always helpful and proactive.. Saurabh was very helpful and made us feel at home the moment we reached.. The helper, Mahavir, a kind soul and who was always there for any need. Wishing them all the best for the future and would highly recommend woodfins home stay for the simplicity, location and view.. A big thumbs up 👍

Sumit is a exceptionally good host and helped with everything we requested from cook to cab and bonfire, the property was private to us with all the amenities you can have in your home like fridge, washing machine, room heater to even nail cutter which makes you feel at home. They have a well equipped kitchen with all the utensils and basic groceries like tea,sugar, masala , potato etc…just bring the raw veggies and meat and oil and you should be good. VERY IMPORTANT: once you take navigation on google maps, they will show the shortest route from dehradun to the property via CHAMASARI road, NEVER take that route as there is no road for 10 km and even an expert driver will fail and get stuck there, I suggest you to take the Dehradun Mussoorie bypass road and sumit will guide you,

We had a pleasant stay at Yaman's place. The location was peaceful and convenient, close to Mussoorie and Dehradun. The view from the room balcony is good. Yaman was a helpful host, assisting us with transportation and organizing a tour. The food was good and the breakfast was great. The service was prompt and efficient. Overall, our stay was comfortable and hassle-free. We would recommend the place for a peaceful getaway.

We stayed at Mala's cottage for a week, and it was a lovely experience! Mala was very responsive with sharing details about the place and answering all my questions patiently. And her recommendations of things to do and places to eat were super helpful. The cottage itself is dreamy - perched on a mountain side with tall trees all around, and sweeping views of the Mussoorie and the valley beyond. The location is fantastic, just a 5 min walk up to Char Dukaan. And the interiors exude coziness and serenity, especially the 5 window loungers across the periphery of the cottage. The amenities and furnishings are not quite modern, but functional and homely enough. We worked for a few days from the cottage, with a lot of video calls, and the WiFi was smooth throughout. The wardrobe space was limited though, and could be improved. Finally, Hansi (the caretaker), made our stay extra special - always available for any needs. She cooks excellent North Indian food, and her ginger tea was bliss!

It was such a beautiful property at such a prestine location. The view from our private balcony was just outstanding. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Our host Sandeep bhai made us feel right at home. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we loved our time here. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a chill, luxurious and comfortable stay.
