There are 3 pubs in the village which are within 10 minutes walk from the house, all serving delicious home cooked food and selections of local ales. The village also boasts a well stocked village shop, tearooms, bakery and post office.

Harry Eyre Cottage, at Spring House Farm, is a super dog friendly cottage in a beautiful location near the Peak District village of Castleton. An ideal location for walking or sight-seeing in the Peaks this two bedroom (1 double, 1 twin), two bathroom cottage has its own private secluded & enclosed garden (perfect for dogs, max two pls!). The cottage is fully equipped with everything you might need including a wood burner and excellent wi-fi. It is located a 15 minute walk from Castleton.

The house is a short drive into Buxton town centre for shops, bars, theatre & cinema or a little further to Bakewell. our pet friendly house has an enclosed garden & lockable bike shed with bike / dog washing facilities.
