It overlooks our horses, sheep & chickens. A short walk will take you to the award winning Watership Down Inn & Bombay Sapphire distillery. The surrounding area boasts beautiful walks. Attractions such as Bombay Sapphire, Highclere Castle, Winchester and Salisbury are close by.

Peaceful rural cottage situated just off the A339 with stunning views. 10 minutes by car from Basingstoke train station. The cottage is next to our house and is a cosy, well equipped place to stay for either a commuter mid week or someone wanting to escape for country walks or bicycle rides. It has a small paved terrace for admiring the view. It is within a mile of Pitt Hall Barn, also close to Oakley Hall, Highclere Castle and Newbury Racecourse to name but a few. Dogs welcome by agreement.

Set in 35 acres of its own land then surrounded by further farmland, there are various outbuildings mainly used for stabling . Silchester Brook meanders through the property and attracts wildlife from kingfishers and swallows to deer. There is a huge network of picturesque footpaths and cycle routes accessible from the front gate of the farm. Dogs and horses are welcome.
