From Widcombe, you can enjoy beautiful walks, either along the canal or by joining the Bath skyline, where you'll soon be in tranquil countryside. After a day exploring, you'll find plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars to unwind in, locally, or a short walk away in town.

Our local pub the Lock Keeper is a 5 min walk away. We are alongside the River Avon - from the front door you can walk straight over the fields. The Swan pub in Swineford is roughly a 45 min walk away & The Bird in Hand in Saltford is approx the same, all of which serve good food. There are many quality golf courses close by.

The Mill House is being refurbished to a very high standard and offers spacious accommodation arranged over 3 floors covering a very generous 300m2. It has a river frontage, an island and gardens of just over ¾ of an acre. The interior retains many period features including exposed beams, fireplaces and recessed windows.

The early 18C cottage is a part of our home but totally self contained. It retains many of the features of the time and is full of character. The two doubles are a good size and have wardrobes and shelving. Both have tea and coffee making facilities. The property enjoys two bathrooms; each close to the each of the bedrooms. There is a large lounge with a wood burning stove, ample seating, TV/DVD player and a piano. The large kitchen has a range, microwave cooker and dishwasher.

The basic kitchen area provides a kettle, a toaster, a mini oven, a microwave and a fridge. For breakfast we provide bread and jams, milk, juice, tea and coffee.
