We had a really beautiful stay, so peaceful. The house is super cosy and homely, we felt at home. Our dog also had the best time. Paul was a lovely host who gave us some great local recommendations. The games room was a really fun addition to our weekend. Can’t wait to come back and bring some friends or family with us.

Such a delightful cottage, well equipped with everything you need. Very cosy and comfortable. Would definately love to stay here again.

The most magical Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at! Rostrata Country House is an absolute gem – incredibly clean, beautifully maintained, and full of history and heart. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, thoughtful touches like breakfast supplies, and an atmosphere that felt truly special. The home is like a living museum, filled with family treasures, yet cozy and peaceful. Even the shed outside is full of nostalgic charm! Cosy Cottage was just that, and more!! The house was lovely with charm and the gardens well cared for. Inside was a delight, a full kitchen with all the utensils, cutlery and crockery you could ask for. The air con in the lounge and main bedrooms was appreciated by us and our dog, especially as we had a couple of warm nights. Definitely caters for pets, with pet towels provided and fenced yard. The view out the kitchen window of the bush behind the property was wonderful, made us feel not hemmed in. A walk in the bush was fantastic with lots of birds singing away. Highly recommend Deb's place at Cosy Cottage for a bush getaway, while still in close proximity to shops, cafes, pubs and even the Avoca Market which was on during our stay.
