Hotel Puerta enjoys an extraordinary setting and location for visiting the archaeological area of Calakmul. The “cabins” are very comfortable with the feeling of sleeping outside while being in it. Dining is unpretentious but excellent. The price is exaggerated as it was the only comfortable hotel in Calakmul but with the arrival of the Maya train and its beautiful hotel /restaurant/pool/bar…from 144 rooms to 20 kms in the archaeological area, competition is installed.

What a wonderful cabin! The place is beautiful. Every detail is taken care of, very tastefully. The beds are really delicious. The host's attention to 10! It's a totally recommended stay.

We had a great stay, we were in room one with a large garden area with 3 different seating areas. Arturo even supplied a bbq for us. the room was spotless and while not huge a great use of space. The bed was huge with good linens and very comfortable.

Special place in the jungle Colibri is a luxury hut and very private. like being on safari. the hotel has good food and the lunch box was a great addition. would come again
