We are located just three minutes from Sweet Briar College, 20 minutes from Liberty University, and 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Close to restaurants and downtown Amherst. This cabin from the 1840s was meticulously reassembled on a 500 acre farm and sits right next to the James River. Come and enjoy the quiet, the river, and scenery and forget the hustle and bustle of the city. This cabin is off-grid but with solar power lighting and seasonally dependent running water for an outdoor shower and sink nearby.

The Vixen House

This cozy and comfortable home is located within the charming Town of Amherst in a quiet neighborhood very close to Sweet Briar College. It is only a short drive from Lynchburg yet is also convenient to other area attractions, such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, Mt. Pleasant Scenic Area, Wintergreen Resort, and an assortment of local restaurants, wineries, and breweries, including the Rt. 151 "Brew Ridge Trail."
