The fire pit is located in the back yard ready for you or you can use the gas fire pit just steps from the hot tub. The hot tub is ready for guests with a view of stars!

We are walking distance to all historic Madison offers. We are less than a mile from Clifty Park. A portion of each stay is donated to local charity.

The Goataway

Quaint and delightful guesthouse in downtown Madison within walking distance of all the activities and amenities our convivial town has to offer. Perfect for a couple but room for 3 on two large living room sofas. Bessi and Aberforth (aka Abe), the owners goats, live in the backyard seen from the eat-in kitchen. This 2 bedroom house is a renovated old farmhouse located on the site of a small vegetable farm and native plant nursery. The back deck overlooks the woods, where you can watch the wild birds and keep an eye on the free range chickens. This is a quiet spot for a retreat, but also 25 minutes from downtown Louisville. The Coop has a fully stocked kitchen and comes with eggs right from our flock....
