Lake house holiday rentals in Beechworth

We visited Yarrawonga to spend Christmas with family. The accommodation was comfortable and perfect for our holiday. The house had all of the typical household items available for use, and cupboards were well stocked; being pet friendly was a huge bonus. The location was excellent, with easy access to local amenities and it is very close to the lake and running / dog walking areas. The house is part of a multi house complex, with a shared front yard and communal pool, but there was little awareness of other residents during our stay. Our only criticism was the outdoor furniture, which was dirty on arrival due to the strong winds off the lake. Being able to sit outside (without cleaning) and take advantage of the view would have added to our enjoyment of our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and are grateful to Sandy for providing a beautiful home.

Well presented 4 bedroom home, lovely outdoor patio. Opposite lake. We had a lovely 3 day stay for a local wedding. Had choices of living areas to socialize in, a big kitchen area, well stocked kitchen utensils, and very comfortable beds.

We had a three night stay for a family members birthday. 8 adults and 3 children and it was a great house for a large number. Plenty of private space, kitchen set up with lots of crockery cutlery platters etc. Two ensuites and a third bathroom and downstairs toilet was fantastic. As it was a warm weekend the air conditioning and ceiling fans were excellent. Jarrod gives great instructions to enter the property and is only a phone call away if you need help. Pool and Spa were a highlight of the weekend. BBQ was great. The back gate that takes you to a walking track and the lake was really handy. Parkrun start point is a stones throw from the back gate too. Jarrod is responsive with any little issues you may encounter and overall we all had a lovely stay. Also great to have all linen towels etc supplied.

We are second time visitors and we will no doubt be back! Amy is a lovely host who accommodates all our requests. The house and property is always immaculate with many supplies and extra items for use. Amy left a small Xmas tree for our family along with croissants, chocolates and bon bons. So very thoughtful! Thank you very much Amy you are a superstar host!

We were a large group staying for 4 days. Everything was wonderful. The house was clean and very spacious, the backyard had lovely surroundings and the pool was fabulous. The kitchen was well stocked with amenities that you need for preparing food for large groups. Our kids really enjoyed have the big room with all the beds so they could be together. Would highly recommend staying here. Rachael was a fabulous host. Communicated well with the info we needed and responded quickly to messages.

Perfect location opposite the lake, short walk to the boat ramp. Spacious, clean, well equipped. Would highly recommend

We had a fabulous long weekend in Bonnie Doon. The house was well configured with bathrooms and bedrooms and the kitchen was well appointed. We made use of the direct access to the lake to swim, paddle and ski and spent the warm evenings out on the deck using the great bbq facilities. The massage chair was also a hit! There is close access to the rail trail and only a short walk for morning coffees and to the pub. We will definitely consider coming back to stay again- the house was perfect for our needs. Jodie was a very responsive host.

Great little family vacay. Great lake views and greeted by the locals (kangaroos) in the mornings. Neat and tidy house.

Blue Mill Lodge is perfectly situated in a quiet location but only a short walk into the town centre., It had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The property is also well set up for dogs, and our wee dog had a great time too. A highlight was watching the black cockatoos from the deck.

This location and airbnb is such a relaxing experience. A beautiful sunrise and sunset over the plains. The home is very cute and has everything you need, and the kitchen was surprisingly well equipped! Would absolutely come back. :)

The perfect holiday spot! We loved our time here. The house was incredibly clean when we arrived - and stocked with everything you’d need. Christine was a pleasure to deal with and we would absolutely love to come back - the most perfect location.

Tania is the perfect host; reliable, readily available and super helpful. Hume House is as it is in both the photos and the description; a tranquil and scenic riverside retreat. Both indoor and outdoor furniture is comfortable and tasteful. The kitchen is very well equiped, obviously by a cook with coffee machine and other appliances that I hadn't expected. The air conditioning and overhead fans also unexpected in a High Country home but a welcome respite during hot weather. I can happily recommend both the house and the host and would gladly return.

Beautiful home where the pictures don't do it justice. Additionally its proximity to a beautiful lawned area along the lake bumps it up. The house had everything you need for a comfortable stay including to be self catering for every meal if you so choose. It is 7kms from Yarrawonga as described so definitely need a car as the local taxi service is expensive and unreliable. We had a great stay. Would also like to stay in winter and get the fire going.

We are already missing the view! Ourselves and another family were looking for a restful, relaxing time - full of serenity- and we certainly got that. Well stocked kitchen with some handy kitchen staples, great bedrooms with really lovely linen and three bathrooms was very handy. The outdoor area was where we spent most of our time though. The undercover area was great for eating and relaxing and we had lots of fun games on the lawn in front. Even though it was a busy road, the house was so quiet and peaceful. We hope the return again because it was perfect for two families - & for that view! Thanks Cherie for being a great host.

Ryan’s place was amazing to stay at. Incredible host whom is extremely responsive and helpful. House is in a beautiful area and very spacious. Easy to access and comfortable.

Was here for Christmas with the family The communal spaces (kitchen and lounge) were spacious with a connecting balcony (bbq). Kitchen was extremely well equipped, came with a secondary fridge for our additional Christmas prep! Smart TVs were provided in every room and were well linked for ease of casting. Surround sound system and shade on the balcony. Perfect for hanging outside. Would strongly recommend if you have a big family !

My friends and i had a lovely stay. We loved the locatiom, it was so peaceful. We were lucky to see a storm pass by over the mountain. Even thought it poured both mornings it did not affect us in any way. We loved it!

Thanks for having us at this great place, perfect for what we were after and for the family. House in is a great spot and easy to find with great access to the Lake. Will be staying here again in the future if we head back up to the area. Highly recommend if anyone is looking for somewhere to stay around Bonnie Doon.
