Dear guests, The water castle is located on the edge of Irmelshausen, a typical Franconian village with a church, castle, and half-timbered houses in the Rhön-Grabfeld eco-model region. The apartment is perfect for families, groups, and seminars. It is furnished with antique furniture and has an exclusive, elegant charm. As the castle is over 500 years old, you will not find modern standards but the atmosphere of ancient walls. Those who appreciate this will enjoy their stay! Feel at home in our holiday apartment with a unique and exclusive ambiance. We offer our Bel Étage apartment in the historic watchtower, about 200 sqm, located on the second floor. It has two large master bedrooms (180x200 & 200x200) in a suite style, where baby cots can be added, plus two approximately 24 sqm bedrooms with a kingsize bed (180x200) and a large single bed (120x200). Additionally, there is a large kitchen, an exclusive bathroom, a living and dining room, and a fantastic view. With the long table for 12 adults 2 Childrens Chairs, you have the option to dine together when booking BOTH holiday apartments. We provide children’s games, puzzles, Duplo, Lego, books, play kitchen, doll strawler and balance bikes suitable for different ages outdoors. In the courtyard, there is a lounge, long table up to 14 Persons, a gas BBQ, and a fire bowl for warm evenings. The park can also be used, where the playhouse with slide, sandpit, and trampoline are available. Our newly designed kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, stove with induction hob, and oven.

This very modern and high-quality guest apartment is located in the centre of the Dietzhausen district of the town of Suhl, with a parking space on the property. Shopping facilities are within walking distance. The Haseltal cycle path runs directly past the property. The outdoor swimming pool is about 300 metres away. The ski and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international competition venues, Downhill with a lift and Schmiedefeld) are easily accessible by car in 20–30 minutes and also by public transport.

The ski and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international sports facilities and Schmiedefeld) are easily accessible by car in 20-30 minutes as well as by public transport. Meiningen, Erfurt, Weimar or Coburg are also worth a visit and are easily accessible.

Modern holiday home in the heart of the Grabfeld

After I inherited the farm from my grandfather, one thing was clear to me, "this farm is not for sale." Thus, together with my parents, I completely renovated the farm and created a modern furnished vacation home. In his honor, it has become "DER HENKELHOF," where we would like to extend a warm welcome to you. By "we" I mean my parents Heri & Ilona and me. For motorcyclists, tours through the Thuringian Forest are available.

Guest house on the Schleusehof... enjoy nature!

Our guest house (about 89 m) is located on our mini-farm, which we run as a hobby. The Schleusehof is idyllically located on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house sleeps 4 people (2 adults + 2 children). On request, we also have a baby cot for the little ones. The farm offers space to romp and relax.
