Since Bergen, the island's capital, is centrally located, you can reach the Baltic Sea coast 🌊⚓ and the Störtebeker Festspielen in just a few kilometres. The famous White Cliffs of Dover are located in Sassnitz. The Nature Heritage Centre with the treetop trail in Prora.

For example, the beach is approx. 15-minute drive, as well as to the treetop trail in Prora. If you arrive by train/bus, you can reach the property on foot in approx. 10 minutes. Very close (about 5 minutes) there are all the important shopping opportunities. There is also plenty to see in Bergen, such as the Rugardturm or the summer toboggan run.

Just a few minutes' walk from the town's market square, the spacious apartment can accommodate up to 6 people. It has a terrace with a garden and is fully equipped. Thanks to its proximity to the neighbouring hotel, you can make use of the hotel's restaurant and breakfast service. The perfect accommodation for anyone who wants to stay centrally but is still looking for peace and quiet.

The former farm with its typical Rügen construction (brick and thatched roof) is located on a quiet side street overlooking the garden and the surrounding fields, an ideal starting point for cycling and discovery tours across the island of Rügen. The accommodation is close to the island "capital" Bergen (only 5 km away) and is located in the middle of the island and also in the middle of nature. We have a large living and play garden to relax and feel good for everyone.

If you stay in this centrally located accommodation, your family has all the important points of contact close by. You can reach many beaches from our accommodation in about 15 minutes by car - Prora Ostsee, Greifswalder Bodden and the large Jasmunder Bodden. Bergen, the capital of the island, offers all the infrastructure of a small town. It is a good starting point to explore the island - with public transport, bicycle and car.

Cottage with Sauna and natural swimming pond

Our two identical holiday cottages are located in a separate building next to our main house, each with its own private entrance – quiet and private. The sauna is right next to the natural swimming pond and can be used freely, with towels and bathrobes included. The pond is perfect for cooling off after the sauna. Centrally yet peacefully located, directly by the Small Jasmund Bodden and next to a large nature reserve.

A mix of modern technologies, historical construction, unnecessary gadgets and a facility that only the next generation will have to carry to the bulky waste, should make any rainy days a secret wish. And yes, it's true, we want to make money, but only with your smile.

A few years ago, I bought the house with a large orchard meadow, pond and old barn in the middle of the countryside. Since then, I have lived here with my dog, 5 sheep and a few chickens. The rental income helps us to further develop the farm. This year, a cat from the animal shelter also moved into the barn. That's why I can no longer allow dogs in principle. Feel free to write if you want to bring your dog.
