Dear guests, we are Massimo and Roberta, we recently bought this farmhouse dating back to the 1800s, surrounded by chestnut trees, near the village of Pruno. If you want to immerse yourself in nature, this is the place for you, you will find silence and tranquility. You will arrive by car in this peaceful oasis, welcomed by the large terrace where you will enjoy the sun all day, and end up admiring the sunset. Upon entering, the living room with winter fireplace is very intimate for reading a book.

Furnished in a simple and elegant way, the white color and wood will make you feel immediately on vacation as soon as you enter the large living room. Gioviano is a small quiet medieval village 25 kms from the walled city of Lucca in the Garfagnana. The house is peacful and in the heart of this beautiful Tuscan village, if you want to explore the region this is a perfect retreat for a weekend or longer. We are 50 minutes from Pisa airport on the SS12 route. The location is perfect for summer or winter. In summer you can reach the sea, in winter ski in the hills. All year round you can explore the region by foot, bicycle, motorcycle or car.

The house is a rustic stone and wood house in the Apuan Alps park, an ideal place for those who want to take walks in the woods and get to know and visit the attractions of Versilia and Tuscany between the sea and mountains. The house consists of a full kitchen and has a wood stove or heat pumps for heating, a double sofa bed, and on the second floor the full bedroom and full bathroom, and outside a terrace, then a loft with a single bed.
