The Old Post Office is the best of both worlds, an idyllic cottage feel but only 5 mins drive or 20 mins walk from Chester city centre, the train station and the racecourse. 4 good size bedrooms with 5 beds, 1 king, 2 doubles and 2 singles, lounge with open fire, dining room. Bathroom with freestanding bath and separate shower, a second WC and shower room on the ground floor, a well equipped kitchen with dining area and a delightful south facing garden with a hot tub, there is plenty of room.

Thatched cottage on private 1.5 acre lake
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Melsmere Lodge is a 2 bedroomed thatched cottage on the side of a private 1.5 acre lake and is surrounded by woodland and open countryside. The lake and woodland attract hundreds of species of birds and mammals. The lake itself is stocked with coarse fish. A little oasis of nature with easy links to local cities. Explore the wider Wirral area on the network of public footpaths or take a short train ride to the cities of Liverpool or Chester.

Liverpool is just 45 minutes away & Cheshire Oak's close too. The cottage is tastefully decorated with modern amenities together with a number of original period features. King Street is a charming cobbled street nestled in the heart of the city centre. Situated within the beautiful City Walls, guests will be able to access all that Chester has to offer including shops, restaurants, historic architecture and so much more. 29 King Street is a former Blacksmiths Cottage dating from 1773 so the property is full of character with a fascinating history. A peaceful retreat and a superb base for exploring our wonderful city, we hope everyone will enjoy their time here.

Stunning Views, Hot Tub, 5 minutes to Chester
Pipers Ash is a quaint small hamlet surrounded by green belt, set at the highest point of Chester next to the historical millennium beacon. Perfectly situated just two miles from the beautiful historic Chester city centre. Take a short car ride or just half an hours walk. Chester Zoo is just five minutes drive away. There are many lovely country walks and of course some fabulous country pubs. The trendy suburb of Hoole is only 15 minutes walk. Here you will find bars restaurants and shops.

Charming Canalside Cottage
Our comfortable cottage has easy access into the heart of Chester. The garden gate opens onto the canal towpath with a ten minute stroll up to our local Cheshire Cat pub. Alternatively, stay in and snuggle up with the wood burner. On a fine day, turn left out of the back gate for a pleasant 35 minute walk, following the canal directly into the beautiful city of Chester. Maybe take a boat trip on the river Dee? Alternatively, Chester Zoo is just a 10 minute drive, continuing down the A41.

A quaint cottage, at Aston Hill Farm, Ewloe
This is a newly refurbished cottage, which was originally a farm workers cottage, on a dairy farm. It’s quaint and very nicely finished. The log burner makes the sitting room very cosy. The cottage is attached to a stable block, and forms a u-shape of out-buildings, including our carpentry workshop. The main farmhouse is close by, but separate. We have large gardens, which guest are welcome to use, including a barbecue and pizza oven. Rural location, but close to lots of amenities.

Tucked down a private lane in rural Cheshire, Eden Cottage sleeps 5 guests in 3 bedrooms: Bedroom 1 – Super-king bed Bedroom 2 – Super-king or twin Bedroom 3 – Single bed Upstairs, there’s a bathroom, plus a downstairs WC. The bright living room has a wood-burning stove and TV, while the dining room leads to a modern kitchen with bifold doors to the secure garden. Outside, relax on the decked seating, fire up the BBQ, and enjoy off-road parking for two cars plus an EV charger.

Roman Walls cottage is a unique one-bedroom cottage dating back to the 1800's. Located within the historic Roman walls on one of the most notable streets in Chester. The cottage is within walking distance to shops, restaurants/bars as well as to the Story House, Chester market, race course, river and cathedral. The cottage is full of character including low beamed ceilings, narrow spiral staircase and inglenook fireplace offering the perfect stay for two people.

It has 2 bedrooms with super comfortable beds, a lounge and dining room with log burner and dining table that can seat 8 people. Fully equipped kitchen with garden room that opens up to an enclosed courtyard area. You will be near the local co-op., The Morris Dancer and The Boot Inn. Fantastic walks from the cottage, including Delemere Forest and The Sandstone Trail.

This Grade 2 Listed cottage is in the heart of the beautiful Port Sunlight Village on the Wirral. It is ideally located for exploring this stunning historic village as well as the Wirral peninsula, Cheshire and Merseyside. Port Sunlight train station is a five minutes work, with direct trains to Liverpool and Chester leaving every few minutes We are sure you will enjoy staying here.
