Holiday rentals with lake access in Birkenhead

We had a lovely weekend away at A’s place. The house was easy to find, had good and private parking and was very spacious (bigger than it looks on the photos!). The beds were really comfortable and the living room was super cosy. The kitchen was also great and had every item you would need for self catering. The cleanliness of some of the glasses, plates and pans was not 100% and we did need to hand-wash a few items - I think this could be due to the dishwasher. The pool was great, we visited in January in the snow and were able to swim every day. A was super friendly and informative at check-in and gave us some local recommendations. Thanks for having us!! :)

We spent a wonderful long weekend in West Kirby. Our accommodation was lovely - we especially enjoyed the decor. It was in a perfect location for beach, lake and lots of places to eat and drink. It is a short train ride into Liverpool to enjoy the sights. We loved it and would highly recommend to friends and family.

One of the most wonderful Airbnb Experience I had! The owner Sarah is so niiiiice! Lovely house, birds wake you up in the morning. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Convenient to go to the Liverpool center but away from all the noise and pub crowds. Beautiful Park is right next door. The house smells good and warm inside. On Sunday Sarah even made breakfast. I would definitely recommend it.

Cosy room with a really comfortable bed! Shared bathroom and separate loo just across the landing. Nice touches with bottled water, toiletries and sweeties. Kevin was really friendly and welcoming. Great suggestion to visit Port Sunlight, and the pizza at Dope Crusts (Oxton Road) was outstanding. Would definitely use again.

Absolutely beautiful home - rooms and outside space was so much bigger than we expected! We stayed for a hen party, and the space was exactly what we needed. Host responded very quickly and even popped in when we needed some extra bits. Pool was a lovely touch, easy to use and warm enough for a late dip even on a cold April evening! Thank you!

A perfect stay for our family, we have 2 young children, 8&10 and a very well behaved Dog, Gina’s home was just like being at home, welcoming, comfortable and safe, with the added bonus of a gym. The bath tub was my favourite, after a long walk around the golf course and beach, I could lay in that tub full of bubbles for hours. The beds were amazing, so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud.

Just what we needed and great location for us. The house is a lot bigger than you expect and the walk around the lake was really nice 😊

The location and views over the racecourse are very attractive. Easy stroll into town centre. The recommended Architect Pub is close by and has lovely gardens and good pub food. The apartment is spotless, beds are comfy and we had everything we needed for a short break. Communication with Emma is excellent, she responds quickly and is very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you Emma!

We were a group of 4 and the apartment was perfect, had everything we needed and is in a perfect location. Well equipped kitchen for a night in and plenty of room to spread out. Some road/outside noise in the bedrooms at night but it is a city and is to be expected I guess. Handy for the racecourse and you’re into Chester centre in 5/10 mins.

A really spacious apartment right opposite M&S Arena. Prefect location. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. Would definitely return and highly recommend. Also great and very fast communication

We liked the very central location and accessibility to local services. The rear terrace was nice, we had our breakfast outside on the terrace on Saturday morning in the sunshine. Decor of the rooms looked good too. Beds were comfortable.

We stayed at Melsmere Lodge for a long weekend. Knowing the area well, I was so surprised to uncover this gem of a holiday home in an idyllic location. The Lodge was stunning along with its surroundings, clean, peaceful and very private but also close enough to local shops, restaurants etc. Hosts were brilliant, excellent communication, instructions and even left fresh eggs and milk for our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our 3 kids didn’t want to leave, they enjoyed it that much. If we are back down the Wirral for another trip, Melsmere Lodge would be our first port of call. Thanks again to Greg and Lucy for making our trip so memorable.

The cottage was beautiful and really cosy. The area was really quiet, but really close to pubs and a shop (walking distance). We really enjoyed in the jacuzzi, nice warm and we managed to enjoy the swimming pool too. Russell was really responsive to all of your queries.

absolutely wish we could of had longer there ,we spent two nights for my sister's 60th we loved it
