Our son's birthday weekend was everything we hoped it would be...comfortable beds, lots of room, loved the balcony, beautiful views, well stocked kitchen. Very lovely...will definitely choose this place again!

This condo is centrally located making getting to downtown, Landa Park, the water park, and just about all N.B. offers very easy. You could walk to Wurstfest from this location. It is right on the Comal river so you can jump in the river anytime. The unit was very comfortable. You will hear the trains when they move through town since the tracks are right next to the complex so take note if you are a light sleeper.

Great location and charming site. This looks like an ideal spot to book a wedding or family reunion.

Brandy was by far the most accommodating host we have had on Airbnb. We were welcomed with a basket of candies and Dunkin coffee. not anything extravagant, but a very nice gesture that set the mood of our visit in a positive way. anything you need is there from seasonings, appliances, dishes, pans, utensils, extra towels, tubes for the river. everything you'd and many you won't need, but someone staying in the future will. Any communication with Brandy was given an immediate response. We love The Water Wheel resort, but Brandy's hospitality brought this trip to a new level. Thanks Brandy

Sabrina was so very accommodating! She allowed us both an early check-in and a late check-out. We barely used our rental car because we were able to walk to lots of coffee places and restaurants from the condo. Her place is very convenient to river tubing as the exit off of the river is literally across the street. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. We loved our stay!

What a great location and beautiful yard!

We enjoyed our stay here in April. Convenient dedicated parking spot right outside the condo, with two flights of stairs to walk up, or a 20-second walk to the elevator. The condo had everything we needed, and Aimee was incredibly responsive and friendly. The community has two swimming pools, each with two hot tubs, for a total of four hot tubs. One of the pools with two hot tubs is located just a two minute walk from the condo, but that pool is not heated, and it is also located underneath several balconies of other condos, so it is not private, but would be a convenient option for kids. The other pool with two hot tubs is a 4 1/2 minute walk from the condo, and not only is the pool heated, but the hot tubs are even nicer, and are set back from everyone’s balconies so that it is a much more beautiful and private setting. Even though we did not use this heated pool much given that the outside air temperatures were in the 40s and 50s, we still enjoyed it! Would happily recommend!

This place is amazing, we will definitely be back. It it located right off the river, the pictures are accurate. The kitchen is fully stocked, there are ice chests for usage and plenty of nice outside seating. The inside is immaculate and the outside scenery is beautiful. We woke up to deer in the window. It is secluded and private but not too far away from town, if you would like to venture out. I book tons of air bnbs on my work account and the hosts for this property are by far the best I have ever dealt with. They are responsive and send extremely detailed useful information regarding the property and information that list close restaurants and activities. We had a wonderful time with our family, I can’t wait to go back. Deserves more than 5 stars!

Great stay for a big family. Very private and quiet. Beautiful views. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful lake access. Overall interior was disappointing- furniture was very old, kitchen was super small, hard to fit in front of stove to cook as space was very cramped . Stove located in a closet space. No spices, condiments, Tupperware, foil, plastic wrap, napkins, etc. Cookware was very scratched and peeling. Drinking glasses were stained. AC’s were wall units and were very loud. Place was expensive, expected a much nicer interior and much more kitchen supplies for the price. Most run down house on the block for sure. Back porch and grill had a lot of gunk on it. Stuffed rabbit with antlers hanging on wall. Needs a ladies touch for sure.

We had a great stay at Anchors Away! Nice house with a great view of Canyon Lake. The furniture and decor made us feel right at home. We really appreciated all of the extra touches of convenience - Qtips, toiletries, spices, etc. Also really appreciated a fully equipped kitchen to cook our meals. This is SO hard to find!! Plenty spacious for our family of 7. We enjoyed a lot of time out on the large deck. Enjoyed seeing deer in the backyards each morning and evening. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay. Quiet and peaceful. You can sit out by the lake and fish. I would definitely stay there again. Deloris was quick to respond to emails.

Our stay was wonderful. We've been going to New Braunfels for years and this has been a favorite stay. Check in was easy, the house is in a great spot, has easy river access, and we loved that there was plenty of space for the entire family to spread out and be comfortable. Our one year old grandson had plenty of room to play in a safe place. The sunroom or the screened in porch is a perfect spot for coffee in the morning and having the chairs and BBQ pit were perfect for the evening. We floated twice from Little Ponderosa and got out right at the house which was great especially since some chose to just hang out in the river by the house. We will definitely look into staying here again. Thank you for being great hosts!

House was a good choice for our large group of people! River front was quiet and peaceful with lots of outdoor space to relax. Location was convenient to downtown New Braunfels, but far enough out of the hustle and bustle. Would recommend and would stay again! Chad and Gaby were great hosts!

Love love loved this place! Beautiful home with plenty of space for relaxing. Whether hanging out on the deck or lounging in the hot tub, this place had it all! We even grilled out one night! This was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend. Only 30 minutes from the Natural Bridge Caverns and 40 minutes from the Gruene Historic District, it was perfectly located for what we had planned for the weekend. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!! It was well stocked with all the essentials, towels, blankets, shampoo/soap, etc. and matched the listing! The only downside was the lake was a little low, but that’s outside of anyone’s control. Otherwise it was the perfect peaceful oasis. Tons of deer running through the area too!

Excellent location. Super close to Schlitterbahn, the river, and Gruene. The view off of the back balcony is great. The complex is quiet and has great security. The unit is cozy and has super comfortable beds. Whitney and Justin are very on top of everything and are super friendly and responsive. We will definitely try to book here again in the future!

Perfect location, 5 minute walk to downtown NB. right on the river. pool and other amenities looked amazing. Lyle was super communicative and easy going, and his condo is super comfortable.

We really loved our unit, 212B. It had a direct view of the water and pool, easy to access and a walkable location to city center.
